Is it a Grand or a woodvil.

Grand spring fix is simple, just unscrew the screw at the bottom of the Grand and replace the Spring. Simple

If its a woodvil you will need to unsolder the spring and re solder it to the on/off switch.

Hope that helps.

Just had a spring collapse and saw that I can buy them on the site. Is this an easy fix and how do I do it?

Usually the cause is the atty or cartos you are using. Sometimes putting them on too tight can cause it also. Check what you had on and see if the bottom center was protruding. Usually best to not use that atty or cartos again. You can also meter it and see if it is bad just to check.
