Squape R or Taifun GT New Builder Questions

Good Day Everyone,

I just have a few newbie questions. I am looking at purchasing either the SQUAPE R or Taifun GT, both seem like good options for ease of building. I am trying to figure out how to start buiding so I am getting an OHM kit and cotton and all that jazz. What I cant seem to figure out is what wire/pre-built coils I should get. I am going to order from Canvape.com

"Those are the prebuilt coils for rebuildable dripping atomizers and rebuildable atomizers.
The coils are made of Kanthal and Nickel 200, with a diameter of 0.3mm, 0.4mm
They are twisted, so as to reduce the resistance of the coil but still maintain a high coverage on the wick.

Kanthal/Ni200

0.035ohm
0.045ohm
0.055ohm
0.065ohm

Which one of these should I go with?????

I'm not sure you would use 24g with either of those tanks. The resistance is pretty low and they just aren't really meant for low subohming IMO. If you want to try tc with ni200, you would be better off with the Taifun. The SqR doesn't really have the room for nickel coils and the base may not be steady enough. Check the SqR thread to see what folks are doing with tc on it. I know many have had trouble.

I think 26, 27 and 28g wire is good for most RTAs. I used to use a 7/64" drill bit for the W deck of my SqR (2.8mm or so). Anything between 2.4-3.0mm for the Taifun is good. Most of us use rayon or Japanese organic cotton for wicking.

Hope this helps. They are both nice RTAs and easy to learn.
