Squape RS has arrived, but the coils resistances are changing ALOT is this rta faulty?

I've been making coils all morning, they wont read on the UD Ohms metre, but I'm following everything steam-engine is telling me, 6 wraps 3.0 ID 27 kanthal, should be 1.1 ohms or there abouts, but it keeps changing :s to like 2.6 and stupid readings? any help?

clone or authentic?? In any case, even if its the authentic this is a known issue although that degree of fluctuation is a bit strange. Try unscrewing the 510 pin a little and test again.

such an outstanding tank, you can do MTL with ease, you can do DTL with ease, and it's an absolute doddle to build and wick

And here I was ready to ask if the coil had been dry burned to anneal the wire! The symptoms fit nicely in that situation ...

Check the screws holding the leads. Sometimes when you fire tge coil tge screws will loosen slightly. Try tightening the screws and see if that helps.

I had that problem with my Goblin Mini. I started getting them real tight and NO more issues.
