So no one seems to be talking much about the SQuape. They are still available on both VapeRev and InTaste. Am I the only person who bought one?

I've only been using it for 2 days, still on my first build, so I can't be sure yet, but so far it's working great. It's very much a kayfun but with the wick laid out on a track so that you don't need to devise all sorts of S-wicks, U-wicks, figure eights, etc. etc. So far it is wicking perfectly, which is what I hoped for, and the reason for my purchase. Wicking issues are my absolute biggest pet peeve, and so far it seems that as long as you set it up right, which is easy, it is the most consistent no fuss device. Though again it's still early.

So far I think yes, I would. I'm trying to compare it to all the other attys I use, Ithaka, Kayfun, Penelope, MISTer hybrid. I know one of most people's main concerns is flavor. That is usually not my concern, and I'm pretty undecided how it stacks up to those on that issue. But it is definitely the easiest to rebuild, one of the easiest to refill, and most importantly it is wicking consistently. No dry hits, and also it has been totally free of gurgles. Though again, this is my first build, with only two tanks through.

I saw it when VapeRev got some in, but was totally turned off by the 22.7mm diameter since I use 22mm mods. It would be better if it was 19.3mm even, you know? But that's just my issue - I'm sure most people aren't "like that". :)
If they came out with a 22mm "v2" in the future, I'd be game to try one out, but instead I just bought my 3rd Kayfun Lite from VapeRev yesterday.

That is a good point. I'm using it on a GGTS, which is 23mm, and I happen to have a cheap mod from Spain, the Bulldog, coming which is also 23mm. So I just happened to have good things to put it on. I myself can't stand when an atty is bigger than the mod. The miniscule difference between 22.7 and 23 is unnoticeable, but sometimes even when two things are the same size the atty will just seem bigger. So yes I completely agree with your point.

Yeah, I've passed on several mods before when I realized they were 21mm. That's a tuff size to match things with. At least with 23 you can find lots of 22mm atty's that will at least look decent.

yeah it was an impulse buy. but i did get lucky and found a genny and a dripper both in 21mm. and the dripper even has gold accents to match the gold accents on the mod. double score :)

i checked around on the squape .. couldnt find any photos of the interior .. but noticed someone i know has one. hes a member here as well as other forums, TheHillGiant. he does a youtube show called All Meshed Up. i hope he brings it to the vape meet next week .. i wanna try it.

Got mine this morning. Watched Hill's video and then I set it up with a micro coil and 3mm wick. So far it's vaping very nicely and the comparison to the Kayfun Lite is accurate. Side by side, they are about the same height with their own drip tips. The SQuape is bigger bodied though. Since mine will go on an ELA, that doesn't matter to me. Build quality wise, the Squape and the KFL are about the same, both very high quality. I have to give the edge to the SQuape for quality of threading. It redefines buttery. Simplicity of rebuildability also goes to the SQuape but the sheer number of configurations goes to the KFL. For air draw placement, the KFL wins. It's on the side of the atty where as the SQuape's is on the bottom? Why have your air hole on the bottom, even though the chance of a leak is small, where it will leak into the 510 connection? Both could benefit from airflow control but for me the SQuapes draw is more spot on. For me personally, the KFL has a better drip tip. It's will be interesting to see how I feel about the SQuape with more tanks and builds. My first build with the KFL was spot on but its been finicky ever since. My first build with the SQUape is spot on so far but we'll see if she also gets finicky.

I've seen some of his videos, and watched his video on the SQuape. He put mesh in it, but I buy these type of attys specifically because I'm not a fan of mesh.

The insides are one of the key features. The base is made out of something called "ematal", I think. It's some sort of super-anodized aluminum. This has been a cause of concern for a lot of people, that it may be unhealthy, but the creators have been sticking by their claims that it's safe. It's not conductive, so you build the coil right in the middle of a channel in the base without having to worry about it shorting out. That's one of the main reasons it's so easy to rebuild.

I've got a question. Does yours only have one air hole in the threading. In the video I posted there looks to be two, but his also only has one o-ring on the drip tip compared to my two, so I figure he must have a prototype. I have two channels for the air at the bottom, but only one side has a hole. It almost looks like it was attempted to be punched but didn't make it through. I heard people complaining about the airiness, so I'm wondering if they changed it on the second batch, if it was always like this, or if I got a dud. I'm not incredibly picky about airflow, and I like it fine enough as it is, I find it pretty similar to the KFL really.

My experience with the Kayfun (various versions) was the opposite, horrible experiences, dry hit after dry hit, a long spiritual quest to find enlightenment, and eventual success that lead to a consistently great vape. So we both have a good start on the SQuape, hopefully it continues.

I prefer this drip tip to the Kayfun's. I wish I would have bought a few of them from InTaste when I ordered. They had them for like 5 Euros, but Vaperev doesn't seem to have them.

I have to admit, I found this funny. When you but their replacement glass, you get their high tech glass replacement tool. A dowel rod. lol I actually think its awesome they include it rather than trying to charge you for a high priced SS dowl but the juxtaposition amuses me.

so i got my squape today and i have done about 6 builds on it, 2x2mm,2x3mm and 1x3.5mm ekowool and it seems the later has worked best so far. i keep getting dry hits with the silica, but the ekowool seems to be working ok so far. I'm going to vape the ekowool for a couple tanks and see whats up with it. eventually i will do a video on my youtube channel "thetoxicjon"
flavor is pretty bomb thow

Well, I've been chain vaping this thing all day and I have to say I'm thrilled. Perfect vaping all day. The only time I've gotten a dry hit was when the fluid ran too low and I was holding it so the fluid wouldn't drain in. The SQuape has two channels, where as the KFL has 4. I have to figure out how to get my KFL to vape like this all day. I just rebuilt it with the same coil/wick as the SQuape so we'll see how it goes. I haven't tried it since the SQuape is rocking it hard.
