Looks like a nightmare to get the resistance right.

Whats the resistance per inch of that mesh?

I'm using a 4 mm x 40 mm strip of 304 SS 300 mesh in a Taifun BT. It's coming out at 0.28 Ohms. I am running in SS304 mode on a SX Mini Q.

It's gonna depend on the mesh's gauge and grade...

That's a cool idea. Any differences in the vape using mesh instead of wire?

It takes a lot more wattage than you'd think, but there's A LOT of surface area. The vapor is intense!

I've been a mech man forever. But this DNA 75 has me hooked. So I'm going to buy a BAM by turbocad :D

You are going to like the size and fit in the hand of the BAM. Plus you get to choose where you want your squonk hole to be, which side the door is on, delrin, amber ultem, black ultem, wood, etc...

Any luck on a mech, Shawn?
I've got a .27 Ohm build in the Taifun BT. I put it up on my Admiral, and it vapes, but it's a tetch on the cool side... 'course, that's with a cell that's likely in need of charging, but I don't see a fresh cell being a huge help in this situation... that .27 build would only be seeing 65 Watts, max, and I generally run north of 80 watts...

ETA: of course, if you like a cool vape, then this is right up your alley. Also, I'm using SS304. SS316 might change things up, too...

I have 3 of them. A BF modded Stumpy is still one of my favorite attys.

The Stumpy was the 1st RDA I modded into a Bottom Feeder. I took a 2-Hole Velocity style Post out another RDA and then ground the top hole off so it would fit. Then used a FDV BF pin.

I don't use it all that much anymore. The NarDa kinda Supplanted it. But I keep it in the Front on my RDA Rack because the Look of it is Off the Charts cool.

Hmmm, sounds borderline. Well, I'll futz with it when it gets here, starting small I suppose. I have only one regulated squonker which the Cthulhu won't overhang.

I think I have 3... not worried, though. I don't HAVE to squonk :)

I never got in on the NarDa. But with all the hype about other attys, like the Hadaly, of which I have a couple, I'll still take the Stumpy over it. IMHO, the Stumpy remains one of the best attys ever made.

I have tried nearly everything hyped about and still keep using my Stumpy's every day. :D

Nothing wrong with the Stumpy. Great Flavor. Nice Air Flow. An 11 on a scale from 1 to 10 Looks wise.

I just give a Slight Edge to the NarDa when it comes to Flavor. Not a game changing Flavor edge. But an edge none the less.
