But it's a new model Flave, with old-school Flave airflow, which I prefer, AND takes an 810 tip, which is an improvement.

Oh I don't know - we've been known to sip a triple over ice topped up in a tall glass with our "other National Drink," Barr's Irn Bru ( "Made from Girders!") of a summer's evening on the terrace when we lived in Spain ... and I'm from Edinburgh and Rhona's from Darkest Lanarkshire in the Wild and Woolly West!
Back in the day a few years ago too, when BF atomisers were scarce as Hen's teeth, someone on here took me to task for putting a Nautilus Mini on my brand new custom built squonking mod while I was waiting for an Origen Little to come from Marseilles in France to Mijas in Spain, but being Scottish, I ignored him and did it anyway!
Just a splash of cool water for me.
I believe in drinking my beverage the way I enjoy it. If I feel like having my scotch on ice, or with a bit of water, or even (god forbid) mixed with coke so be it. Cheers.

Here, here and cheers! Spanish Folk drink a lot of whisky in tall glasses over nice topped up with a lot of coke - again it's pleasant on a warm summer's evening.
When we were young in Scotland most pubs only sold Bell's and the quality then was inconsistent - " a shudder in every bottle" we used to say - and so we drowned it in fizzy lemonade.
As you say - drink it the way you like it - I do!
