Seems like the most active Squonk thread, so here goes:

So my Dot Squonk 100 doesn't get used much and I noticed my max VG juice is noticeably thinner after sitting in the Dotmod (silicone?) squonk bottles for probably 6 months. I'm obviously not going to vape it and I didn't leave it in there that long on purpose, but what happened?? I've left that same juice in tanks for months without a change is viscosity.

Warm weather will thin VG compared to winter

Thanks, but I'm aware of that. I've only vaped one juice for the last several years so I'm pretty familiar with it. (I even change my wicking with the seasons) This stuff is WAY thinner than anything else sitting on my desk!

My concern is what the bottle is doing to the juice and if any of you Squonkers have heard of this subject coming up before?

Glycerine is hygroscopic so it will absorb moisture from the air. I’ve had similar experiences with juice sitting around in squonk bottles, silicone and other materials, that gets thin and dark. Just my opinion, but I don’t think the bottles are affecting the juice as much as the environment around it.

One of my bottles was in the mod and exposed to the environment, but the other one was capped up on my desk and it was just as thin, and neither were discolored:?:
