still havent hit my 5 posts so im asking here. i found stainless steel cable on ebya but it was called 304 7x7 stainless steel cable. would that be safe? im familar with the 7x7 stainless steel cable part but not the "304" if anyone can clear that part up for me it'd help a lot. thanks!

The 7x7 and 7x19 designation is the amount of strands per braid. IE. 7x7 would be 7 strands of 7 strands each, together. The wire in 7x7 would be of lower gauge and thicker, than the strands of the 7x19.
I don't think it makes a whole lot of difference as it all seems to wick fine. At the temps we use, the 304 will be fine.

Should work fine. Not much difference between the two unless you are a machinest makings things on a mill. Strand count and gauge will have a slight effect, but not enough to matter IMHO.
