Crimson, you're always a gas station or pharmacy away from a backup aka. cigalikes. Nothing can drive you back to the stinkies except yourself, remember that. Check this thread if you find yourself vapeless due to an emergency - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-usa-please-read-first-post-requirements.html Hang in there, you will eventually get what you're looking for!

RHP

Worst case scenario I can pick up a cheapo ego or something, but I think it's wonderful that something like this exists! Another example of how fantastic the ECF community is!

I turn it off. I've been charging it about twice a week, and I vape pretty heavily, if that helps at all. I haven't really been paying much attention to the puff counter.

Edit: Now you've got me curious though. Next time I charge it up I'll leave it on and let you know.

Here's a good review I saw after I picked up an MVP cheap from FT, he talks about fixing the wobble caused by the On & Off switch on the bottom of the unit.

RHP

He's got an older one, they've changed a couple things since this review. It has true ego threading now, so a T3 or whatever will screw right on there. The bottom button wobble thing....I wouldn't want to unscrew it and force that button in, just in case I ever DID need to use the charge capability, but you can stick a couple of those little tiny rubber disc feet thingies on the bottom and it will make it sit flat. Or I suppose you could take a dremel and grind the button down a smidge if you were careful. If I recall correctly, on pbusardo's review he got better numbers from it, too, though it's been awhile since I watched it, and I haven't noticed any drop in voltage between green and yellow as the battery runs down. Might just not be enough for me to detect in my vape, which honestly, if I don't notice it, I don't really mind if it happens.

How many puffs can you get on your MVP before the yellow indicator pops up or do you turn it off before bed?

I preface by stating the puff counter is the single worst/needless feature ever....on anything.

To answer your question I will say that your question cant be answered in terms of puff counter. Even if you bump the fire button and it fires for a second, it registers on puff counter. This is ignoring the voltage you are rocking and resistance of what you have on.

To go about it another way, after 2 days of heavy vaping (4.4v on 2.5 ohm protank head) my light is still in green. I have drained it to red once and I'm pretty sure it hadn't been plugged in to charge for over 4 days.

While I can't prove it, I'm pretty sure hospitals have an mvp handy as an emergency back-up generator.

That sounds pretty close to what I've been getting, though I've been using a 1.8 ohm head and vaping around 4.1v. Seems to hit yellow towards the end of the third day.

How powerful are your usb wall adaptors because I'm using the one included with my Joyetech eRoll and it doesn't take super long to charge the MVP. But the first time I charged it was on the laptop and lemme tell ya, it took forever folks. I see your point about the counter, Irish. I usually subtract a few from the total but you're right it's all anecdotal because there's voltage and resistence to factor in when folks announce their puff counts.

Crimson, I'm not sure what revision I have. I'd like to think it's the latest one because I purchased it in late June but who knows. All in all, I think for 40 bucks, it ain't bad. Using one right now with an iClear30 2.0-2.1ohms vaping 3.7-4.0v roughly about 7-8 watt range is where I like to be on most everything.

I haven't used a wall adaptor, just been charging it in my desktop. I use it while it's charging, though, and I know it works off the battery even when you use it as a passthrough, so that's probably making it take longer, usually about 2 hours I guess. Plus I've been using the charge cable that came with my Nook on the MVP too, I have no clue if the cable makes any difference. RHP, all you have to do to tell is see if it has the ego threads, if it does, it's a newer one. Either way, should vape the same, and that's all that really matters.

You guys can beta test it for me. After 6 months I'll consider it over the MVP I was planning on getting ;)

I, too, was seriously considering a MVP, but after seeing the VTR on Innokin's Facebook page..... The one thing that's kept me from pulling the trigger on the MVP is the inability to swap batteries on the fly. I HATE being tethered to something, and not being able to just slap a fresh battery into the MVP was a pretty big deal killer for me.

Yeah, I've seen 'em. Holding out for that VTR. :D
I'm waiting for an e-mail from Justin at Fairy-Gifts... they're supposed to be the initial retailer, per Innokin. I'll post it on the VTR thread when I get some new news. Who knows... Coast 2 Coast Vaping may be the first with a smokin' deal - a few weeks ago they were doing a Vapor Joe's - iTaste 134 pre-order deal for $99.

This was the last thing I got, last night.

I was told to the VTR was to be released today, but they I called them today, they said still need a little delay : )

But we will be the first to stock those items

If I can use an EVOD (in the spot for the iClear -> NOT sticking above the device with the adaptor), I'll buy one. If I can use a T3 or T3s, (again, held in the iClear spot), I'll consider it.

If both require the clearo to sit on top (like with the MVP), it's a no-sale for me (I already have an MPV, so I don't see any advantage).

Carry on ;)

Member Capt.Shay came up with an even easier fix to the button wobble. Modified, just press the button into the body firmly (not hard, just firm?), slide to the other position. Push. May take a few times to seat the silver button on the actual inside switch. Worked on mine, switch still functions, no disassembly.

If I don't inadvertently turn mine off, I usually just recharge around 900 on the counter, running a mix of DC tanks, T3 and Evod. That's about the only use for a counter I have!

Agree, if the VTR doesn't take my usual toppers, it's not going to be on my wish list... we'll see!

Totally agree. I like the looks and appears small enough to be a good mobile device when I'm on my M/C for the day. Been looking for an alternative or a way to carry around my larger (current) mod, but this may work if it'll take my current tanks.
