Stabilizing flavor?

Hi there!

Do you folks happen to know if it's possible to stabilize flavor in my liquid?

After I make a bottle of juice, it vapes great the first few days, and then the flavor seems to diminish. Not really a problem if I make small bottles, but the second half of a 30ml bottle is almost useless

Do you leave it to settle for a day or two before vaping to make sure it all blends together from what I remember from my time at the bar I used to work out heavier liquids layer towards the bottom incidentally how you get pretty multi coloured cocktails ;-) but same principle your nicotine concentrate is relatively thick as is vg or pg and every flavourant I've seen has the consistency of water meaning that initially it will lie in the top of your liquid and therefore used before the bottle is finished unless left to mix properly

Hmm, could be. I'll have to pay better attention next time. I could have sworn that I let my last 30ml bottle steep for a few days, but I'm not positive. And I always shake the snot out of the bottles before refilling.

I've had the same problem. I find that adding 1-3% acid such as acetic, ascorbic, or citric acid helps keep the juice stable. Have you tried that?

Be careful if your using clearo's or anything with a plastic tank though, some acids cause microscopic etching/melting of the plastic, namely citric acid.

This "etching" takes place even when used in ce4+ clearos.

Shaking the bottle before every use is a good practice to have too. As Fishtec stated, some liquids settle.

For sure you need to add an acid. It will stabilize the flavor and prolong the shelf life. Try 3 drops of concentrated lemon juice or apple cider vinegar per 5ml.
