this is normal, what you are seeing is the "TCR curve"
Wires that can be used for temp control (SS, Ni, Ti etc....) all have the same characteristic, of resistance increasing (at a measurable rate) as the coils temperature increases. This is how TC mods work, they measure the change in resistance, since that is a known, steady increase in amount of increase per degree of temp.

But my ipv3 li only has TC for Nickel and Titanium ..
some mods will still work with SS wire in Ti mode....but the displayed temp will be off....you will need to set the temp lower then expected by around 80 degrees or so. Worth giving it a shot, but like mentioned above, make sure the coil is at room temp when you do so, or the temps will be WAY off
