Hey Guys,
It appears I will be buying a Provari. Believe it or not, my reasoning has nothing to do with vape quality.
I currently have 3 iTaste vv3's and 1 MVP2 and I have vaped a Provari at a local vape shop and quite frankly I can't tell the difference. And even though I prefer variable wattage, I'm still looking to buy a Provari...Why???!!???
With the latest push by the EU to ban e-cig sales, and the push by ANTZ and the FDA to heavily regulate vaping here in the US, I am afraid that the future landscape of vaping may be dominated by proprietary e-cigs and cartridges provided lovingly by Big Tobacco. I also think that once BT has a stranglehold on the market, BT will raise the prices of e-cigs to the point that only the "rich and powerful" will be able to afford them, citing "stiff taxes and FDA quality inspections" as being the reason for the price hike.
While the hollywood elite and hipsters vape their Thousand dollar e-cigs, the rest of us will be forced to go back to the leaf.
I was a slave to Big Tobacoo for many years, I'm not going to let that happen to me again. I am already keeping all my Kanger heads and just bought some wire and wicking material so that I can learn to recoil. I am cutting back on my nicotine consumption to zero so I don't pay the Tobacco Use Surcharge my health insurance will try to stick me with. I will be learning to make my own zero nic e-juice using PG/VG and food flavorings.
My final plan involves not having to rely on "disposable" e-cig batteries in case these devices are no longer available.
Thus the Provari. These devices are damn near indestructable, from what I understand, and they use standard LiIon batteries that have other commercial uses outside of e-cigs, so the FDA can't touch me there.
What model of Provari do you guys prefer, the Mini or Standard. I know the standard will give longer vape time. But I kind of like the smaller size of the mini.
Is there any compelling reason to choose one over the other? Are batteries for one more plentiful than the other?
Thanks for your input, I look forward to your opinions so I can order one from Provape while I still can....
