Not to argue, but, the flavor is (H) but the vendor is ecig. I try to use OFM (Original Flavor Manufacturer) if at all possible. That way I can get the official names of flavors for my DB. But in this case Hangsen is in china so I'll have to see if I can get to their site.

EDIT: Just went to their site and they only list generalized categories. I guess only their official vendors have their flavor names. So I guess its ecig unless their is another vendor who has all their flavors??? Still checking it out!

Think I found one but ecig might offer better names and images.

Not sure what you are getting at, ecigexpress stocks/sells flavorings by multiple vendors, it's still a Hangsen flavor, anyway I simply filled in the blank for (H) nothing more, I've never tried it :)...

Sent using Tapatalk and yes I probably should be working at the moment...

I had to kinda invent my own abbreviations, I've got a list on the about/faq page under flavor lines. Yet another aspect of this that needs standardized. I would gladly change any of those if it'd be helpful, I. E. I should probably drop the tpa/ because everyone should know that by now. Hangsen probably makes more sense as HAN. thoughts? It's easy for me to change them globally

Here's a link http://diyrecipebook.com/about.php
The list is at the bottom. I don't think wizard labs actually has their own flavors, they sell tfa.

Nice page but I think I'm sticking with mine for now. BTW I added HAN for Hangsen. As I was searching( in ECF ) I did find a post about abbreviations and it was expressed that there should not be a standard here in ECF. I'll have to find that post again. Although I agree with standards I kinda agree with them too.

EDIT: found it

The email verification page links to a blank page. Also, a bit troublesome that the contact page isn't linked. Maybe jumped the gun and went live before the kinks were worked out? Something like this gives one a feeling they're being used as Beta testers without informed consent.:?:

Sorry about that, haven't been able to track down that email bug. I verified your account manually. The site is a bit of a public beta, I'm not making any money on the deal, and I've invested a lot of time in it. I'm pretty limited in the amount of free time I have to work on it, so I've been Taking a bit of a break from working on it. If you have any feature requests, let me know and I'll find some time to work on it. I'm happy to do whatever needs done to get people using the thing.

When percentages are used for flavoring amounts any person can duplicate that exact recipe regardless of the desired volume of finished product. Say I list Lemon (TFA) 8% all you would then need to do is plug in that percentage for that flavoring in the calculator and it doesn't matter whether I mixed up a 5ml or a 120ml batch, it's all relative ;) If flavor amounts are given in ml then you would need to know exactly what the finished volume was to be able to duplicate it, then in turn you'd still need to turn it into a percentage to scale it up or down, much easier and less chance for math errors using percentages. The calculator gives you the necessary number of milliliters for the flavoring based on final volume...

As an example:

Total flavoring 18%

Peach (Juicy) (TFA) 7%
Honeysuckle (TFA) 8%
Cinnamon (Natural) (TFA) 1%
Ethyl Maltol 10% diluted (TFA) 2%

Base of your choice (8mg/ml Nic 60PG/40VG typically now for my mixes)

This is all you need to exactly duplicate this recipe, hope this helps :)

I understand what you're saying Uno Mas, but any good cook knows how to increase and decrease recipes, and we don't do it based on percentages. I'm not trying to push anything, just saying that some of us might be more comfortable using mls and I guess I don't see any reason both approaches can't be listed. Not something I'm going to argue over, though!

Have you used an ejuice calculator yet? It converts percentages into milliliters for whatever size you would like to mix up, it all relative, what are you not understanding? The point initially was being told this is how we do it, ummm, no it's not...

And I explained in detail the benefits of percentages when listing a recipe, do you not think that maybe this has come about after years inconsistent and varied recipe posting? No really there isn't anything to argue about, you are free to post your recipe(s) in what ever measurement you deem fit...

BTW do you use grams or cups in the kitchen ;)

I ran into the same verification problem today; thanks for the hard work so far though, there are some great recipes on there. :D

...As far as the other debate on here. Most will go with what is comfortable to them and what works best for their own personal tastes/methods, no matter what anyone says is the best or only way. Most methods become refined as time and experience continue. No disrespect intended. This is an open forum, we learn from one another, as I do every day.

FYI, Uno mas, I use both, since my husband happens to be diabetic. And save the indignation and sarcasm, please. Friends have told me how nice and helpful this site is, but I'm beginning to doubt that. Don't bother responding cuz I won't be bothering to read it!

One SLIGHT problem here:
This would be great EXCEPT I cannot use E juice Calculator on my laptop using Windows 7. Couldn't use it with Vista either.. nor on my Desktop using XL..

That leaves me carp out of luck!

I have it on this laptop using XL and on my computer using Vista. I don't see why you can't use it?

@glassmanoak, sounds like you do not have Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 on any of your PC's.
