I recently ordered 2 Stardusts from www.Litecigusa.com and gave one to my dad (who hasn't even tried it yet) and I kept the other. The one I kept was DOA (or so I thought). I didn't try it until after it was out of warranty but the vendor was good enough to ship me a replacement anyway.

Let me explain what happened. I screwed it on my eGo battery and nothing...didn't work at all. I fooled around with it thinking maybe the contacts just didn't reach the battery. I was right, after messing with it I got it working by pulling down the center post. Problem was that once I did this the silicone seal no longer came in contact with the tip so juice runs out the top.

I contacted the vendor who reluctantly sent me a new one out of courtesy since I had waited several days to try it and this took it out of the DOA warranty. I just got the new one today and when I screwed it on the same thing...nothing! So I'm guessing that it wasn't actually a flaw with the first one and that they are just designed this way. What would posess them to make a carto for the eGo that doesn't work correctly? Do I need an extension/adapter in order for it to work?

I love these things (once I got one working). The amount of vapor is great without losing flavor. I just wish it would work without adjustment and without letting juice run out the tip. If I need to buy an adapter I will but these were advertised as "eGo Clearomizers"...why would they not work on an eGo right out of the box if that's what they're made for?

Oh, pulling down!

I got the objects criss-crossed in my head.

Biziou is right, try pulling the center post Of The eGo UP!

Just go to YouTube and do a search for this to see how to do it. Make sure before you try to pull the eGo's post up that it is turned off! I have a small'er flathead screw driver that has been bent slightly about an eighth of an inch from the tip. This gives me more Angelo to get under the center positive post to pull it up.

Remember you might have to do this often depending on what other accessories you use. Nothing like a good Boge Cartomizer to push that post back down.

But that should fix the OPs problem. I would have caught it sooner but my reading proficiency is about the fourth grade level.

Stardusts are made specifically for the ego. Yes, the draw is tight and if you want more air in your draw, then you can get a 510 to 510 adaptor.

I have 7 Vision V2s and about 8 clones of the same. These are the ones with the replacable heads. I have had a couple that didn't make contact and usually it was the other way around from the above. The inner fitting in the base was too far towards the battery side, and what I needed to do was push that down and then the thing worked. Also important to make sure the head is screwed in tight. Typically, on the battery side, the top of the very inner shaft needs to be flush with the cylinder that is around it.
