And with the MVP, you DON'T need separate batteries and charger.
Sounds like not a bad fit - if you love it, you could get a VTR next...
I don't have either, but I do often recommend the MVP as a "step up from ego"...
I DO have a VAMO - nothing wrong with it - it's worth every penny (I got it in a trade, LOL).

Whatever you get just make sure it has both the 510 threads and the eGo threads so that you keep your options open for what you put on top; the 510 interface has problems.

Which rules out the Provari... It's 510 only.

Seriously, most popular VV/VW tube and box mods are both 510 and ego cone threading. The 510 'interface' is a tried and tested connection that has stood the test of time. The 510 on the Provari has a one year warranty from Provape, so you should be OK if you decide on that.

510 to ego adapter. Like $4 or les most reputable vendors. Probably even cheaper on Ebay.

The evic is very nice for the price, the only issue I've run into is the 5V/13 Watt limit. Mine has been in use daily and I'm still using the original battery it came with almost a year ago. My first box mod was an Itazte MVP, the only mod I have that will last over 1 day if used as my sole mod (but I usually carry 2, with 1-2 more in my jacket).

By all means feel the mod before you buy it, the cylinder mods with 15650 batteries are quite long and not very discrete. For discrete use I love my Magneto with a 16350 battery (even though it'll telecope out to fit the larger batteries)

The weight wouldn't bother me, I play with 3/0 cable all day lol

That's a great price compared to the local spots

The VTR is great for being out and about, at work, just being active period. It's built really well and can take some abuse. The tank is semi protected from snapping off if it's dropped. I got mine for use when I am on the go. Mostly for being on a motorcycle. If it comes our of a holster or my vest pocket and hits the ground at 70 mph, I don't want a completely trashed mod.

Has that ever happened on your motorcycle? I ride as well, and carrying my ego c-twist with me is not that much fun, so I ended up carrying two 650Mah batteries for when I ride, which I do not like to do. Plus the fact that it has some protection for the tank is pretty nice.

Not yet, but I have lost a cell phone, cigarettes, beer, and whole array of other things. I don't ride with bags, fairings, or any "dresser" amenities either. If it can't be carried on my person or tied to the sissy bar, it don't need to go.

I just want the piece of mind in case. I usually tuck everything nicely in the inside vest pocket, but a long run up the freeway, and I could drop it. This also means I don't have to stop to smoke, I can just reach in clicky click on my button and have a drag while cruising the open road. Obviously, not in traffic, or other unsafe areas.
