I really appreciate the valuable input from all of you. I'm still reading 'newbie' information and am slowly learning the differences with all of the many choices. I plan to visit a smoke shop tomorrow and may buy something if they can start me off with a 'kit' that is reasonably priced. After doing quite a bit of research already, I know I can get something great for well under $50, but thanks for the warning.

I warmed up to the Halo tank system that looks like something I would like. It looks like it is sold in the UK.

I'll be back when I've made my purchase to report and perhaps help another 'newbie' looking for guidance. Hopefully, I'll buy the right thing to start.

@Linda522

Please think twice about that system. You can buy the same system for 30% of the price if that's what you want. These brands.... just don't, please. It's all HYPE and PROFIT.

What has the UK got to do with it... aren't you in Michigan?

The Innokin T18 will make the Halo Triton seem like a dinosaur product worth no more than $10.
Actually, I can price up this system for you... how much is the kit?

Thanks, djsvapour; I am still low on the learning curve. I saw a Triton Tank Kit for $49.95. I've been to so many sites that I'm going cross-eyed!

Yes, I'm in Michigan; I just stumbled on a UK site and posted here before I realized I can buy it here in the US. I will take all the help I can get.

I want to 'graduate' from the Joye 510 I have to a 'tank' that's NOT a box, and clearomiser model (I think), and would really appreciate your input. I will certainly consider the Innokin T18.

Oh, I see.

Yes. Halo is American. Nice liquids... it's true.

You can buy the same e-cig technology (or better) for about $25.

The one thing about that Triton setup is you get 2 650mA batteries, 2 clearos with coils, and a usb charger with wall wart, which you might throw together for $25. But they do throw in a 30 ml bottle of a liquid of your choice, which goes for $20 (I really like the Tribeca). So it's almost breakeven.

You're right, it's not great tech. I've now got an Aspire Plato and am really enjoying it. No comparison to the little Halo Triton clearos. But it's still nice to have a little vape pen (well, 2) hanging around as well. My curent plan is to pick up some of their blank cartos' (the XL size) which fit on the Halo battery, so I can fill a bunch of them for say travel for a few days and don't want to bother packing liquid along.

But after the Plato there's no way I could go back to a pen clearo as my primary vape.

I went to my local smoke shop and, after much research and reading ECF helpful responses, purchased the Joytech eGo AIO. Paid $25 and sales guy put it together for me, showed me features and answered questions. I'm very pleased with this unit. LOTs of vapor, easy draw and SIMPLE. This is what I need and perhaps I will graduate to something more in the future, but for now this little unit is just great. Very happy with it.

Very happy you went with that setup and didn't purchase anything from VaporFi.

So happy to hear you got a kit that works for you! I've heard great things about that kit. You are off to a great start!!
