Starting over

Well after going so long without a cig I finally caved last friday. Been really stressed out, rumors started about the shop shutting down because the engines couldn't run on Yemen's fuel because its to rich and causes the motors to blow. They had us working 16 hours a day. Then came last Friday I get to work and there's notes on all the time clocks stating that they are having issues with payroll and that we will not be paid till Monday. I started stressing more and more, came lunch time I broke down and bought a pack.

Said it will be my only pack. Well after lunch we was all called in for a meeting and was let go. The time finally came and the shop was shut down. I been stressing so much its not even funny I'm back to a pack and a half a day. The company lost the contract for Yemen, so I'm out of work. They wont reopen again till they start work on the Kawasaki contract and that's not for another four months. My car is sucking whats left of my bank account up and we was laid off before I received my certifications for rigging and operating the Yale and Lull.

So now it's back to square one I have seven left in the pack then I'm done.

Hey, It happens to the best of us (going back to habits, I mean). You'll get there. Don't worry about it and chalk it up to accidents. I caved the other day and had one with a friend.

Just about everyone here knows what it's like to have stress drive them to cigarettes. I've been there before. Sorry life is rough right now, and hopefully things will turn around for you soon.

Try to find the right sauce for you, something you really like in e juice, makes a huge difference, I haven't had a cig since I started vaping.

When I started I got a juice that was 36mg. I was probably a 24-27mg person. I wanted to make sure I got my "fix" when I needed it. I still have that bottle. It's not in a tank, but I have a Mod with an atomizer on top. I use the Mod mostly for taste testing new purchases, but, I could just as easily grab it and the "36". If I had a stressful job, I would probably put it in the car.

Anyway, I didn't smoke.

Glad you are starting again. It is a great change.

Your employer kicked into your unemployment fund. Hope it tides you over until things are looking up. In the meantime, get a cheap bottle of unflavored nic and $15 in flavors. Cross your fingers and ride things out.

Hey its a better reason for losing your job than punching your boss out from the stress...we all been there, right, right, ok maybe just me.

Hang in there and keep the faith! Stress is what keeps us alive and feeling. So you needed a couple packs of smokes...stuff happens! You recognized its not the best option and are trying to rectify that situation that you DO have control over. The rest is out of your hands.

In the end it will turn out alright, even if you smoke a carton of analogs! Best wishes to you!
