I started e-cigs a couple weeks ago and thought it was going to be important that it was as close to a real cig as could be, so after shelling out over $150.00 for an eSmoke PRO Starter kit that arrived with a box of dried up worthless cartridges and a defective long battery, I contacted esmoke about it and one of their people asked me to send the cartridges back and they would give me a new set, so I put them in an envelope and sent them off ( I just ate it on the battery.. it works but it's flakey).

At this point I was feeling semi satisfied. I do a lot of online purchasing and almost never have any issues, but when I do receive something that is broken or has some sort of problem, the seller of the product usually promptly sends me out a replacement, no questions asked. Especially when its less than $20.00! Well apparently thats not how esmoke works.

Fine, so I waited a week or two and never heard a word and never received any replacement cartridges as promised. I contacted esmoke again to find out what was going on and one of their people told me all they got from me was a ripped up package and told me I need to package my stuff better..

From that point on all my replies have just been ignored. Totally blowing me off. Way to run a business! I don't see how they are going to survive that way. It's bad enough that their stuff is way over priced (its just an e-cig E8 i found out. and those are like $40.00 for a starter kit). But with lousy customer support on top of it I think they are really gambling.. Not many in the e-cig community seems to even know who they are already so they need all the good publicity they can get. I had to do a lot of digging to find them. And apparently it was a bad find. I won't be buying anymore accessories, cartridges, juice, or recommending them to anyone else. I just wish I could find a place to get empty cartridges other than from e-cig in china.

Their decision to save a few dollars and not give me a good set or cartridges just lost them hundreds of future dollars.

I've got a kr808d-1 on the way...

thanks for the advice. yeah i actually did find a review saying this one was good. i even saw a leaford review on it. my first mistake was being on a mission to get a cigarette size I think. and then I found out too late that it was an e-cig.com e8.

oh well. I have learned a lot since then and already converted 3 of my smoker friends over to vaping so it was worth it.

Thanks for the info. I'm a newbie -- just ordered a Joye 510 today, and thanks to ECF, I keep a tablet on my desk as I read these reviews and jot down stuff like: Good e-juice suppliers, bad e-juice suppliers, good brands, bad brands, etc. OK, eSmoke is now on my list. Wouldn't the company owners just freak if they knew they had dummyheads in their customer support dept. that cost them 1000s of $$$? Not good. Thanks again for the post, they are worth a lot to us newbies.

i received the kr808d-1 for 28.00 at heaven-gifts was shipped fast too. its works good as far as battery life.. it runs for a long time between charges. but my E8 tastes better and gives out more vapor. but you only get about 40 puffs out of it til you have to recharge it.

but you can get the deluxe kit from e-cig.com for 65 bucks instead of 150 from esmoke.

I still want to find some high quality empty 808 cartomizers that might taste better. You can taste the difference for sure.

I have tried cartos from 2 places. The first time I got cheap ones, 7.95 a pk. They weren't very good, but I vaped, washed, and refilled them for a month. Then I decided to try V4Ls Premium cartos! I'm in vaping heaven. I bought 90 mls of their premium juice too. It's all fantastic and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them.

Sorry about your experience and thanks for the heads up. The vendors should know that we all share experiences and opinions out here and bad biz equals a lot of lost money. They just made the "bad" list over here.

Check out the forums here. I'm sure you will find quality vendors that have everything you will need.

I have had fantastic results with AltSmoke, House of Vapor, Ikenvape, and Tasty Vapors. All are excellent with regards to products, shipping, and service IMHO. One problem I've had with these guys is they are SO good I get confused as to who to give all my business to, so I try to give them all a part of my business. lol

yeah I have had no problems with anyone else ive tried so far. for me that would be Tasty Vapor, Alternasmokes, strictlyjuice, alien ejuice, heaven-gifts, vapornine, and vapor4life. SO far only one bad experience (esmoke) and I can't believe how bad it was. I hav never had such a bad experience with anyone ever. that inclides just buying misc stuff on ebay.

I fell for the esmoke scam too. I set up a return on their website and am goint to return my esmoke package on tuesday. I am shipping it priority signature required. They should receive it well before their 30 day deadline. I hope I do not have problems with them crediting my card back. If I do i will just call the credit card co. and contest the charge.
