Greetings, the other 1/2 was commenting on how I was clouding up the house with my dual coil setups. Sure, I was going through more juice than what I was with single coil setups/builds but in interest of reducing her exposure to my "cloud" a started on a mission to reduce my vapor footprint.
The most obvious change was back to single coil tanks. This helped a bit but I was still able to "fog up" the living room if I was not paying attention. So then I started swapping in lower output tanks with higher nicotine juice. While I puffed less often, I still was able to "fog up" the living room way to quickly.
Then it dawned on me, since I run nearly %100VG it must just be my juice! I mixed up a 30ml bottle with 10ml VG and 20ml water (H2O) and gave that a try. Besides the newfangled wicking issues I just made for myself, the vapor was less intrusive. I figured I might be on to something.
I'm now vaping on a rotation of 3 RTA's, all three have 66/33 (H2O/VG), two have flavor and one is plain unflavored. Besides the water logged wicks needing a bit more power the boiling point of my juice is now ~340F rather than much higher. I can get a satisfying "hit" of vapor which on initial experimentation seems to vanish within a few feet of where I'm vaping on exhale.
Anyone else experimenting with the use of large % of water in their juice?
