Hi Vaporologist..

It seems like the same button I had with the brass Stealth, a hexagonal one. It works well enough but kinda digs into my palm a little, I am seriously tempted to round it off

I haven't removed it yet and haven't got access to any pliers ATM so can't open it up. The spring seems stronger though, which is nice..

Yes Vapor, it is different from the previous style we have been getting. The new version has a longer stem on the button cap to promote better conductivity. The spring is also made from brass now I believe Imeo said.

I haven't gotten mine yet but from photo's, it appears that the hex button top may be a tad thicker. Hopefully in a few days we can all know for sure!

Hopefully this pic will help solve it. I no longer have my older Stealth as I sold it in preparation for this one coming so I can't compare the parts but the spring is indeed brass.

I know a few people were worried this wouldn't be shiny after seeing the COV mock-up pic. Mine arrived this morning and no worries on the shiny score!

It's beautiful in 'the flesh' better than I can capture with a camera, it's flawless and looks like it's been chromed it's so shiny..

I've always liked the older rounded buttons, so I took the plunge and rounded mine off

I just spun it in a Dremel and sanded it down with emery cloth..

It's a stunning little device to begin with Imeo you've outdone yourself with these steel caps, they look amazing. The rounded button is just personal preference and it only took 5 minutes anyway
