stealth vaping and smells

I try to keep some berry gum in my purse so when someone asks what the smell is, I just say oh would you like a peice? They dont even notice they chew more of my gum than I do.
I'm an all day coffee vaper...If it does leave an odor...I doubt anyone gives it a second thought...
I was camping with some friends in Southern Ohio and they said that the camper smelled like cotton candy, caramel, and cinnamon. They had no clue what flavors I was vaping either. Now they call me "cotton candy girl" and they call my e-cig my "barbie cig" because it's pink
I work at a karate school and stealth-vape all the time. I've asked a couple of my friends there who knew I used to be a smoker if they could smell anything right after I take a drag (all I vape is menthol at the moment), and they couldn't detect anything. I'm sure people notice the vapor cloud when I forget to stealth-exhale too.

Hey, slyfox. I am new to vaping (1 month) and have only tried some stock menthol carts. May I ask where you got honey flavored liquid? I am a beekeeper and I would love to get a honey flavor!
So, what's the best way to stealth-exhale? I always worry that someone will walk by right after I have exhaled some vapor and bust me. I've tried holding it in longer, but it doesn't seem to disipate much. Any advice?

Love all the posts in this thread and am off work the rest of this week - will be stealth vaping once I go back though. I now have the courage
I was vaping some Blue Punch from volcano (not my favorite vape by the way...waaay to sweet for me) and my mom, who isn't a smoker, said it smelled like jolly ranchers.
Swear I can smell cinnamon or gingerbread when I enter the building the next day! No longer have to buy those cone shaped air-fresheners to keep in my cube - one more way to go green. Peanut butter cup and RY4 did cause co-workers to wonder who had burnt the toast...now I save these and the tobacco flavors for home. Cola and lemonade smell fresh; mojito and red wine make 'em jealous.
I can smell the strawberry I have been vaping all week, in the morning when I open my bedroom door the whole living room smells like it. It is great I was always a airfreshener freak when I smoked but not so much any more. The strawberry is nice.
I stealthvape at work & when I use diy flavor shack pineapple upside down cake one of the witches in the office walks around sniffing and saying I smell cake, whos's got cake?! Hate to say, even if I had cake, she'd be the last one I'd tell......lol
I vape openly at work, I am in the military, and it is really accepted well. I have converted a few. My mods are starting to get attention and several have asked me to build one for them.
I inhale then inhale again through my nose and hold it for a couple of seconds then slowly breathe out. Works for me

I must need new ones, then because I experimented and it doesn't set off mine. Vapor is cool--not smoke--so I don't see how it could unless there are smoke detectors that detect other things besides heat and smoke.
I don't get any lingering smells at all and I only sometimes can smell when I actually vape. I wish it would hang around longer, then I would never need air freshener. LOL
