I second CDalio, as soon as they realise I would be more productive since I wouldn't be leaving the building for a break they were fine with it, only request they had was to refrain when we have the big bosses in but that's only once, maybe twice a year, oh and that I don't vape in the kitchen area, other than that everyone is fine. The worst then can do is say no.

I would vape more at work, but I haven't figured out how to rig up my pv to the inside of my dive helmet...yet ;)
Luckily I'm free to vape all day while on dry land though, screw working indoors!

I do however stealth on planes and busses or in other "restricted" places. I use a 510 manual battery with a clearomizer, works quite well...and for even less vapor use less vg in the liquids. Of course the double inhale trick works well also. And I took the clip from a ball point pen, and placed it on my battery and I just keep it handy in a shirt pocket....

I stealth vape several times a day in a bathroom at work. I carry my vv madvapes box with a carto tank. I don't blow big clouds mainly because I'm terrified of setting off a smoke alarm LOL. also I don't want to leave the bathroom full of any vapor if anyone is waiting outside. No one knows ;)

Tried to set one off on purpose to no avale...

At my last job site, we had some gas detectors for use in confined space entry. A cigarette set them off every time, my vapor however did not, despite many attempts...so the confined space guys say that they will buy ecigs now so that they can "smoke" even in tight spaces...lol

When I quit smoking and staretd vaping, I just shared the information with my direct reports (their office is right outside mine) and had them do the "sniff test" to demonstrate. Once everyone got that there was no smoke and no smell, it was a "non-thing". I had our divisional director walk into my office yesterday just as I exhaled a big cloud of vapor - he looked startled, then looked at my Twist and recognized it for what it was. I informed him that I quit smoking almost 6 months ago thanks to vaping. For me, proactively managing the conversation has been key.

Have any of you just tried a discussion with the boss? You would be surprised how open most are.. Especially when confronted with the idea of you not smelling like smoke or leaaving your desk/work area for smoke breaks..
I just do it at my desk!!! Big billowing clouds!! My coworkers have called it my pacifier! lol!

As good as an idea it is, my boss hates smokers and gave me looks (and also frowned upon) when I first said I smoke. Telling him that this is not cig but and e-cig is not going to make a difference for him. He is not the understanding kind
