Lance, if you are working with the folks that make the aga-t I would like to add some thoughts.

Remove the diamnond etched grips or whatever. More towards the style of the Aga-W
Make the center post stainless
Add a spring/washer setup on the positive post like the AC9 (or alteast make it a 2 nut affair like the Aga-W)
Oring cap.... no more screw on. If they are going to have a dual wick setup for ss mesh or silica.... a positional top cap is ideal.
Make no threads on the tank itself (like the aga-w has). This way it can get a glass tank easily

Just some of my issues with it...but its really nit picking to be honest. Its a good device

Oh and btw...what is knurling? is that the diamond grips or the lined cutouts or something?

I've been having a hell of a time with mine the last couple of days. Shorts, hotspots, thin vapor with too much TH, etc. I dunno what I've suddenly started doing wrong but it's annoying me! My first week with it, I was really happy. I know the issue is me, and not the device but it's buggin me.

I'm putting in a springloaded air vent when I get home. ;) hoping to increase vapor if at all possible

currently the proposed changes are thus:

double O-ring top cap, no more thread. (The aga-S I'm getting in "soon" already has this change)
Mesh style wick hole close to the center post so no more long positive legs or bent wicks.

Possible changes:
The center post is brass yes, but it's coated so it shouldn't be leaching, I am trying to get them to change to a stainless center post.
Borosilicate glass tank, this is difficult for them and trying to teach their engineer who doesn't speak good english about flame polishing, etc, I'm worried it wont make the next cut.
Reduction/removal of knurling. This might be there, when they updated the aga-s, the knurling went away, we'll just have to see what happens with the T when they finally show me.

The aga-s I'm getting in has a threaded SS tank, you can't replace that with glass but it's also smaller and already has some of the updates that are coming with the new version of the aga-t.

Knurling is the diamond grips. Also, putting in a glass tank is easy.

How did you get the threaded tank for the aga-w replaced with glass?
I know the aga-t can get glass easy.... but if they change to the aga-w style so they can get the o-ring top cap.... eww.

The tanks will NOT be threaded on the aga-T rev2. it will still be the same ol 'fits in the two caps' style tube like it is now. It's just a question of whether or not it'll come with a glass tank standard or keep coming with the poly tanks.

So it will still have the threaded top cap?

erm.. no. The top cap will be secured to the rest of the device via a double o-ring set up.

The actual tank assembly will not change, the base plate and top plate (the part where the coil screws are) will still be connected to each other via the center post and will 'clamp' down on the tank tube just like they do today.

I seem to have a hard time finding much on the AGA-S, what's the size reduction vs the Tiamat? I love this thing but could totally due with a bit less girth.

Also have care how far the wick gets moved away from the air hole, I doubt it would be very far at all, but it may change the TH/vapor as these style seem sensitive to placement... Of course the original german guy who created the Genesis often had his wick in the very center.

gooooood morning.
Last night I recieved tracking information for the aga-s, carto tank, igo-l and carto punch. The last shipment I'm waiting for tracking info on is the vivi nova supplies.

Will update as shipments start to arrive this week.

I'd say it's probably DID sized? I'll get pics up as soon as I have the items in hand. I'm not trusting vendor supplied pictures anymore :p
