Yeah, unfortuantely the metal they use on the twist bodies is pretty thin so the press fit/glue gives it up on occaision. It shouldn't happen right away but I've had egos last me a month or a year. If yours is busted this early (I've only been open a month so it can't be old yet) I'd be willing to replace it. I knew going in that some of these things would have defects and was prepared to deal with it :)

the only reason I even carry those is because it's the best option for a beginner right now, even with the QC issues and random quality fubars there really isn't a better option for the price (yet).

No I don't need it replaced or anything. I assumed you would be happy to do so. I also assumed it was probably a common issue, given the price, etc. I might try one from a different vendor to see if I can find a different level of quality, as I'm not sure these are 'real' twists, but I honestly think that this is just probably the way it is with press fit. The connector popped out of one of the segelei's today too, and I popped it back in, but I can't get a straight answer as to how that happened from the GF. She says it was just like that when she picked it up off the table :/ If we're good for anything it's stress testing I guess.

I've had one other complaint about my egos which to me is pretty good considering how many of em I've moved. You can buy 50 of em and almost bank on the fact that at least one will fall apart ;)

Now... the Zmax that's a differetn issue. You pay that much for somethin and it shouldn't be falling apart. If it continues to give you trouble, let me know and we'll get it taken care of.

I'm not sure how large my initial order will be.

On one hand, it's a new revision and I'm hesitant to make a large order that might have issues.
On the other hand, it's from a manufacturer that does a pretty good job with their stuff so I should be able to 'trust' them and it's going to be super popular so I don't want to sell out too fast and lose sales...

I'll probably make a relatively large order, just keep an eye on this thread. I'm pretty open with my communication about when items will be back in stock, etc.

With the improvements you've mentioned - especially; glass tube & food grade stainless steel - this should be one awesome RBA.
