Where I am
Mornin monkeys :)

So yeah, last night I put in an order for the KTS Telescopic Storm as it's called on the suppliers list... This will be the first item I rename from a supplier (I detest that practice) because I think the GG stuff is awesome and even if this is a knock off, I don't want to accidently pull a new and perhaps uninformed customer away from GG or confusing them with this thing so It's just going to be called the Telescopic Mechanical mod. Generic because that's what it is.

reviews have been bouncing around on these finally and it's looking pretty good so once I have them I'll test out out and run it through it's paces before I put em up for sale.

Also:
More Panasonic batteries are otw, they shoudl be shipping tonight.
Boge 2.0s will be back in stock "soon" they also should be shipping tonight.
Boge XXL, 2.0's will be added to the store the same time the standard 2.0s are back in stock.

I've always considered getting a mechanical mod, and this one may finally get me to bite!

I just got tracking info on the Aga-T+ and the restock on 18650 panasonics. I also ordered some Efest 18350 and 18500s last night and I'm adding another single battery charger with spacers for all different battery types to the line up. It's not as fast of a charger and it's only a single bay but it'll do pretty much any Lion battery size and I should be able to get it priced pretty low.

I have a question about the telescopic, you may not know since you don't have them in your hands yet but I was wondering the diameter of the very tip of the top cap... across the top of the drip well.
I've seen pictured of it with a std DID and vivi nova, which are around 20 and 19 mm respectively (so I've read) and they look pretty close to flush.

should be an interesting month... got more new stuff coming in and then I'm done. I'm not adding another 'new' product or option until I can start putting my american made stuff up for sale. I'll continue to stock my existing products so I can continue to support them but I won't be adding anything new. The only thing I'm considering is swapping my ego-twist for an ego-vv but I'm pretty hesitant to do that because I like the fact that my twists are 1100mah and for a equal sized ego-vv I have to drop to like 650.

Lance, I've heard good things about the Lavafire if the telescopic doesn't work out for some reason. I'll prob be getting one some time soon and reviewing it, since it seems like a brick ..... house. One thing I'm not sure about is what it will require, if anything, to fit a 18650 + a kick, but I'm sure I'll find out. It uses extensions instead of being telescopic. It's copper in chrome, and uses a machined connector instead of press fit. It's about 4.5 inches I think with the 18650 extension, without tank. There's a strange manufacturer video out there somewhere.

yeah, I went through the remaining twists I've got in stock and tested them. After you posted what you did I got a couple emails from folks, sent them replacements cause they tried to 'fix' em and made it worse lol. I found a few 'loose' ones in my remaining stock and just pulled em, I might change suppliers for that category. I don't mind "knock offs" when it comes to chinese stuff as long as it's a quality knock off. The vivi novas have proven to be pretty decent so I'm keeping them but the twists, having that connector pop off is bad news. It might have been isolated and the supplier is sayin they can fix the issue in future batches but I'm picky.

oh, I'm also considering changint he newby kit to be an ego + T3, those T3's are really solid, I've got a couple in my rotation now and for a clearo I'm pretty impressed. I still like the vivi's more personally but the T3's are dead easy to use so probably better than a carto pack for newbies. Still have to figure out how I'm gonna handle "juice testing" for newbies.

Are they basically as good as a mini nova but just 'different' in the other obvious ways? If so, I'm in next paycheck.

Hard to really explain.

Flavors are 'different' some parts of a flavor come out stronger than in my other set ups.
The vapor is a lil cooler which I don't mind on most juices, especially menthols.
I've not had a single dry hit on mine, I have heard some reports of dry hits from others though but I've got 3 in use and none have dry hit on me.
The fit and finish on a twist is just sharp looking.
Refilling is about the same.
The draw is about the same.

Ultimately it's just different, I like the wicking being at the bottom which means it's almost always wet, I forget to swirl my vivis and I run em a lil hot so I still get a funky hit every once in a while, hasn't happened with the T3. The flavor differences are there and osme people will hate it some people will prefer it. They seem to really like fruits and menthols. My more 'rich' flavors get a little thin tasting in them which I attribute to the longer travel time from vape to face since it's a bottom coil and a cooler vape (I get a similar expeirence when I put a long drip tip on a vivi).

At the end of the day I dig em, I'm a vapor snob though so I'm probably over analyzing this a bit lol. If I didn't like em though I'd have marked em down to cost and sold em out to get em off the store ;) instead I'm planning to keep them in stock for the foreseeable future.

OH and head changes, WAY easier. I can change the head even if the tank is full and not get juice all over my hands which is a huge perk for me because I hate wasting juice :p

if I get a carto to funk out right after I filled a tank or a head in a vivi nova, I'll vape through the funk until the tanks empty just so I don't waste juice or make a mess changing the head/carto lol.

so, I'm sticking with the twist :p I looked and looked and nothing is worth the extra money or hassle, the twist is just a good go to device. The supplier is making some modifications but I might move to another supplier after talking with a fellow vendor who said they've had an extremely low fail rate (0 isn't possible with these things). Gotta keep movin!

I'm about to hit the sack but I've got a lot of stuff coming in the next two weeks, it's gonna be a pretty large update when it all comes in. Save your pennies RBA fans cause the initial stock of Aga-t+ are probably going to go extremely fast. I've also got a lot of messages asking about the AGR being back in stock which leads me to believe they won't last long either.

Thanks Lance, that was a thorough breakdown. I've found that I'm overly attentive to things that don't matter much in the long run, when flavor is really the important part of the fun for me. I can imagine being bothered by not getting the usual warmer air, until I realized I was still getting flavor. Just a mental hangup. I've been testing a lot of fruit + menthol flavors so that's a plus too. Can't wait to try it.

ya know, it's like anything... some people swear by a straight carto no tank. some people swear by a tank and won't touch a naked carto, some folks think clearos are the bomb and otehrs will ONLY drip on an old HH atty they've cleaned 500 times.

The T3's imo, are solid and easy to maintain/fill and provide a decent vape. I'm not gonna lie and say they're my fav, but I do enjoy them as a back up/rotation device but I also hvae got a LOT of vaping equipment in my personal stash lol.
