it's pointless to open without my 'big seller' I'm not doing any black friday or cyber monday "deals" I'm pretty sure my prices are already the best if not quite competitive ;) Theres no reason to do a sale if you're already offering low prices.

I'm not in the business of mind games. I'm not going to price something at 19.99! just to show you a 19 instead of a 20 and I'm not going to artificially mark up items and run perpetual sales to make you feel like you're saving money. I'm just going to price things as low as I can and still be able to maintain the other projects I'm working on with the business. Basically, I'm going to try to avoid anything that annoys me about a store when I go to it ;)

Hence why shopping at a store generally annoys me. Sounds like a plan :D

Well, heres the aga-t story.

The device, from manufacturer comes with I think a small bit of silica, a small piece of unknown resist wire and a few spare parts like screws, o-rings, etc.
No drip tip.
No mesh.

I don't feel comfortable selling it like that. SO... I was waiting until I got final pricing on kanthal wires and my mesh. I'll be packaging the Aga-T with:
Everything that comes in the box from the manufacturer.
a section of Kanthal A1 28awg.
a section of Kanthal A1 30awg.
a section of Kanthal A1 32awg.
a swatch of 316L stainless 400x400 mesh.
a swatch of 316L stainless 500x500 mesh.
Random swirly drip tip.

I figure this gives people a number of different coil set ups they can try, either hte massive 28awg or the more standard 32 with 30 thrown in for good measure, a piece of 400 and 500 mesh so they can see the differences and determine their preference.
For those that know what they like, the extra 'doodads' in the kit will be there as back ups for when you forget to order more or something and suddenly blow a coil/ruin a wick.

I should have pricing up tonight for the Aga-T. I needed to know what my overhead on mesh/wire was going to be before I finalized the price. I'll post it here once I get all the various maths figured out.

Well.. Some folks already have all the other stuff. some folks don't. Even the folks that already have it aren't gonna be 'upset' by the inclusion of wick and wire so, I figure cater to both parties by making it a complete set up out the gate. Fits in with my one stop shop mentality :)

Soon friends, soon. Trust me, I wanna be open.

If theres a hard run on the initial stock I've already told my vendors to be on the look out for new orders. I talk to them all every evening to keep communications open so if I get close to out of stock I can flip another order relatively quickly. (I say relatively because... well, it IS coming from the other side of the planet and most of them build to order)

I'm still poking and prodding my SS mesh set ups. I'm liking it but I'm a perfectionist so I'm trying virtually every combination I can find from the forums just to see where the improvements and sacrifices are for different wires, meshes, resistances, etc.

Y'all should join the live chat sometime. It's fun in there ;)
Just no store talk in the main room! That'll make burnsy beat me up.
