Steep Question/Advice - Liquid from Bluemist

Sucks to be that low. Maybe you can find someone nearby in the PIF forum to tide you over through the weekend in case your FSUSA order doesn't arrive soon. There has to be some vapers in your area.

I'd offer to send you some well steeped flavors but with the exception of DK Menthol and FSUSA free samples, everything I have is 18mg.

BreezEsmokes is up in McGregor if you feel like a drive. If you ordered tomorrow morning, even through USPS you'd most likely get it Saturday. Don's flavors are very tasty and affordable. Cinnamon Pear tastes great right out of the mailbox and only gets better.

Check out the ECF BreezEsmokes Forum or PM Don (butterbean03) directly & ask if he can get you fixed up by Saturday if yo u place an order.

I got my 4 X 30ml today and ,while I don't notice a chemical odor/taste, they don't quite pop like the last order I had from them. I do believe they'll improve with a bit of steeping. The flavors just don't seem quite balanced.

I'll be fine. Just don't like going to top off my carto and seeing my bottle almost empty.
The real issue is that I leave for Spring Break tomorrow. There's a slight chance I'll get the package, but Houston usps center likes holding things for a day or two before sending it my way. So if it gets here Saturday it's going to just sit in the mail box for a week. But I put another order in to FSUSA today on that chance and had it shipped home rather than to my school. So Tuesday at absolute latest, but really hoping the first package gets here before I leave tomorrow night.

I can vape the stuff if I'm desperate. The banana nut is vapable. If I added some PGA to it, it might be good. And as far as I can taste, the cinnabun is also vapable, but it's really cinnamon-y. Like Fireball cinnamon.

I now like the smooth and robacco menthol, but still don't like the others. I may just have a problem with fruits and sweets in general. I've had them since feb 9 ... tried them again at the beginning of april.

Mine did improve some. I believe my taste buds were taking a break for a while around the 5 week mark. I just couldn't taste some of the flavors that were supposed to be there, but other people could. I started to get them near the end of the bottles.

I think the small sample bottles need less time than large bottles to rid themselves of that chemical taste. My 180ml bottle of pb cup took about a month before it was real good.

just sayin, I got two bottles of cotton candy and (blue and pink) and one of citrus punch form bluemist about 2 weeks ago and all were quite enjoyable out of the mail box. No problems at all. The pink cotton candy is one of my favorite vapes use it at least once every day. ALso like to add a few drops of either to some of my more harsh juices Sometimes. I do have several juices from other places that had to steep though before they were any good. I hope that you can enjoy those soon.

I too had that prob with them. I still have mine steeping and its been several months with going back to them every few weeks. It is a harsh chemical taste that burns my throat. I havent ordered from them since. It looks like i will have to ditch them to make room for more palatable juices in my juice box.

So I got 120 mL of assorted juices from BlueMist today (3 30's and 3 10's).
All of them have a chemicalish taste to them. It's a familiar taste, but I can't quite put my finger on what it reminds me of. Regardless, it's not a flavor I want in my juice. So my only recourse is steeping.

So, I would like some advice on steeping:
I've already steeped liquids before, but small quantities and at room temperature.

Is it better to steep at room temperature, or is it better in a cooler environment (e.g. refrigerator)?
Or even warmer temperatures?--my only method would be leaving on a window sill where the sun would hit it
I've heard that adding some PGA (everclear) can help the process. What is the recommended amount of PGA per mL?
What other ways can I improve the taste?

If it matters, I'm using an eGo 3.7 v with LR 510 cartomizers and I haven't encountered this off-taste with other liquids before.

I can tell you I've only ordered two flavors from them...RY4 and Belgian Waffle. Mine didn't have that prob but the wafle seemed a little too buttery at 1st it passed after a couple days. I'm wondering if it does have something to do with the vg (as mentioned earlier this thread). I get the 80/20 blend when I order Bluemist because I normally use 70/30.

"well, considering that all of my recipes are being held in a little 25 cent notebook with tons of scribbles that no one but me understands..."

Never again.. I will stick with tasty vapor and have been told to try RAWR Vapor and Vaporcast.

My BlueMist experience was one of ordering a lot of samples. One in particular was not vapable-blackberry fizz. Real soapy and perfumy. It's been sitting in my rejects box for about 3 weeks and I think I'll get it out and see if it has improved any. I found the rest of their juice ok but nothing great.

the taste..the harshness...and strange breathing problems i do not get from others juices.

On the topic of trying Kick Bass and Rawr, i give two thumbs up to-
Rawr is my go to now-
but Kick bass helped me escape Blue mist..
and they have some good juices.

I've never ordered pre-mixed juices from them; but I have ordered nicotine liquid and a ton of flavors from them, and after 3 days of steeping mine always come out great. (*shrug*) Maybe they aren't using the same thing to make their pre-mixes as they ship for diy flavors?

I love the Blue Mist Cotton Candy but also have gotten a sore throat I don't get with other juices. I also have experienced the breathing problems. I have been walking every night with my dog and had been able to keep a quick pace and have a conversation. I have noticed since Vaping the Cotton Candy on a daily basis that I am short of breath like I was when I smoked 1 1/2 to 2 packs of analogs a day! It's a shame because I really love the flavor and have a hard time finding good flavors in 100% VG. But I quit smoking to feel better, not the same or worse. I guess it's no more Blue Mist for me.

It might be the VG. When I vaped pure VG, I get that heavy feeling in my chest. I always don't go below 50/50 anymore if possible. Some VG I've tried tastes just like vaping shortening with hardly any flavor.

the reaction i have with Bluemist juice is def not the VG, as i have vaped 100% vg, and though i did not like the experience....it was not the Bluemist experience.

you guys are weird. i love bluemist. i've gone through hundreds of ml of their liquid. i've never got one that wasn't good when it arrived. they often get better after some time, but i've never received something "unvapeable" from bluemist. from other vendors? yes. from bluemist? nope.
