yes, as deback states, prolonged light and/or heat will weaken nicotine content. It causes it to evaporate faster.

2 years of mostly cool, darkness is how you get maximum expiration.
keeping in heat, will for sure kill ur juice in a few days easily. say 90+ deg. def going to evap SUPER fast!
direct sunlight works the same way for the "heat" theory. sun creates warmth, same deal. evaps.
light, not like heat, but artificial light, not 100% sure, but can still cause it to breakdown and evaporate over long term exposure.

So if I just bought some flavors from a popular vendor and they taste like feet, its a good idea for me to remove the caps and tips and let them sit for about 24 hours, then give it another week?

What is the effect of exposing the juice to oxygen. is it only light and heat that evaporates the nicotine?

yes u can uncap/untip them and let them set for 24 hours in a cool dark place, then tip.cap them up tight and let them set for about a week. 5 days should work to see if they flavor will improve or if it's just whack juice.

anything like sunlight or direct light that can heat up the nicotine will cause it to evap at a much faster rate. Heat can also make it taste gross as well. I don't put mine in the fridge either, but some people do.

I'd say between 50 and 70 deg would be okay, maybe a little more. but something like 90 deg would start to speed up evaporation process.

oxygen will thicken the crap out of ur nicotine as it breaks down, a lil 24 hour airing will start the flavors to blend together, but say like a few weeks or a month it's going to turn the nicotine into a dark tea colored sludge. LOL

So I should always uncap them before I like them sit for a week?

you don't HAVE TO even remove the lids, I do it to kinda give it a boost.

A lot of my pre-mixed juices I just set, with lids on, out for a week, unless they taste whack or don't have enough flavor then i do the 24 hour lids off deal.

It doesn't make a HUGE difference if it's one or both caps, if you're doing it for 24 hours. the only difference is ur juice will darken faster. You could even just shake it, pop the caps off, put them back on and let them set.

I leave my DIYs off ALWAYS for the 1st 24, but it just depends with the pre-mixes.

hope I helped!
