In my experience the fresher the juice the more likely it will need steeping especially for Tobacco juices. You could always ask the vendor if they recommend steeping.
For quickest steeping:
Place bottle in hot tap water for 45 mins
Shake bottle and place in dark cool cupboard.
Next a.m. shake and remove cap, leave in cupboard.
Next a.m. vape.
The older traditional method is to leave in cupboard for 2 weeks.
Good Luck.

I'm a traditionalist . . . so it's always a week at least, that I leave eliquid
to steep, including home brews. Although some flavours don't seem to require
quite so much time, fruity flavours among them.

The hot water method is fine, but it's a bit like the difference between eating
a naturally ripened tomato and a ' forced ' ripened one for me.

I also DIY and I prefer planning ahead and using the traditional method also.

They steep in the bottle. If I have juice in a tank or clearo and I'm not vaping it for awhile I'll place it in a dark place or empty the contents back into the bottle. Tanks and clearos need to be washed frequently so it's very rare that I ever need to do the above.

Do juices steep in carto's and tanks or just in their bottles?

This is the method I've used and it seems to work great for me.

Harsh chemical taste seems to dissipate making for more tasty juice. Realize I DIY so my juice definitely needs steeping. Here's a vid

So for the 2 week method are you taking the cap off of the bottle and does the bottle need to be shaken up? Also what does taking the cap off do beside oxidize?

I think I will try this when I decide to order. I am sure I will learn through experimentation how I like it best, but no harm in trying all ways! :)

Good idea. Any juices you don't like you can try steeping and if they still don't taste good put them in the cupboard as your taste buds will change dramatically. Had a friend that ordered 500 ml of a certain juice he LOVED...3 weeks later he couldn't stand the stuff. Just remember to drink lottsa water as vaping dehydrates and can ruin the vape experience. I drink 1 1/2 liters per day.
Cheers.

Some need 2 weeks and some need 1 week while others can be vaped straight away. It's all trial and error. Premixed is the juice we are vaping.
Juice Components
Flavoring usually about 15%
PG enhances flavor, TH and lung hit- water like
VG= vapor and can mute flavor- thick
Nicotine- TH, lung hit and our need for nicotine. The MOST important ingredient in regards to TH and lung hit.
Standards in the industry are 80/ 20 or 70/ 30 PG/ VG. I vape 70/ 30 PG/ VG

Okay, so what I am getting is that I should steep my e-liquid for at least 2 weeks? What if it is premixed? I have noticed that some vendors have premixed juice too.

Wow! So many different ways to steep!!! Lol! I am steeping a flavor at the moment. We really do not like it!!! It tastes like burnt toast!!! EWWWWW!!! I am hoping that in a couple of weeks it will have a better flavor. Seriously, it tastes like burnt toast going in and like vomit on the exhale! I was going to try the hot water technique first, but decided to let it sit, if it isnt better then I will try the hot water. Premix... I am talking about what comes from a vendor, that the vendor themselves didnt mix. They come from a 3rd party. I have read mixed explanations on the premixed.

**** corrected by spouse, as usual**** She says her take on premix is juice that is mixed and steeped for 5 days before it is even put on a shelf to sell....
