IME the nic will subtly (or not so subtly) affect the final flavor, so for me it's always in the mix. And it WILL affect TH.

That, and because I mix a large batch of unflavored at just below my preferred PG and just above my preferred nic level. Flavorings are generally in PG, so that brings the ratio closer to my preference, and their addition also brings the nic down a little. Like DaveP says, makes mixing small batches a snap. Measure flavors, top up with the premix. Done.

If you mix a wonderful flavor without nic and add the nic, and it changes it, you're back to square one.

I received a 60ML bottle of a wonderful what I consider a morning vape but it was Zero. After about the second day it was missing something which was the nicotine and I added enough to make it 3MG. Even slightly diluting it the flavor was improved in a major way in my opinion. I only use NicSelect tasteless by the way.

I've started mixing a large quantity of creamy base (bav.crm/fr.van/van swirl/whipcream/smooth/EM) and let it age for a couple weeks. After it's ready, I add individual side notes like caramel, berries, etc to smaller quantities pulled from the base. Nic goes in with the side notes. Base batch and final pour are mixed on a magnetic stirrer.

I make a base mix of whatever nic strength I wish to use. Normally kept in a 250 ml amber glass bottle. Let it steep for a week in a dark cupboard. Then I add my favorite recepie concentrates and depending on the flavors used steep it for a week to a month on the same cupboard.

Just want to add from my previous post. The only reason I can think of as to why you would steep without NIC is if you were making a large quantity to be shared among several people all needing different NIC levels. Other then that I would steep with NIC.

I mix my base and flavor(s) then mix, shake, froth or whatever your fancy is to mix them together is. Let the bubbles subside overnight then I add the nic and remix trying not to add excessive air. I use to steep without Nic then I did some reading of Dannyv45 articles and now I steep with nic. I NEVER use any heat to steep other than some hot tap water to loosen up the VG cause its friggen cold up here and labors my magnetic mixer to mix cold VG.
