So I've been seeing the word steeping thrown around alot. I know it probably means let it sit for a while but is there a special procedure to do this. Does it improve flavor? Why should I do it? And how long?
there are countless threads about it. however some flavors need steping some not. some need a longer time some shorter. when you enter the DIY world you will learn a lot along the way, mostly from your own errors
Steeping is basically just allowing your juice to age like a wine. It allows flavors to mingle, marry and mature. It is done by uncapping and leaving in a cool dark place for a few days, few weeks or even up to a month depending on the juice. You will want to recap and shake vigourously as often as possible. Each juice requires a different steeping time. Try small amounts until the flavor is full and robust.

If you do not have a place to store them with little light, you could use brown UV filtering glass bottles to store your juice in. It is why some beer bottles in a green glass bottle will "skunk" while those in a brow bottle resist UV light so it doesn't break the beer down.

Oh no I got the perfect place. Inside my pc box where the drive bays are. I've got 9 fans running usually at max rpm and it's really cool in that part. Plus it gets a nice cool airflow. Also a place where I used to get my liquids used to sell me the 10ML in a brown e-liquid bottle. I didn't know why and I looked it up and I found out about the UV lights and such degrading material. Pretty cool but now I just picked up a stainless steel E-liquid bottle called "Innokin U can". It's sort of like those little stainless steel pill bottles but it's got a dripper and it is leak-proof. Unlike those plastic bottles that always leaked when you put them in your pockets.
