Hi folks,
Awesome forum with tons of contributors and a genuine sense of community - I can tell already I will be here a while.
I've been reading in here a week now - a lot - I basically can't seem to stop - I can see how you folks get addicted just to the idea of this stuff - gear, modifications, it's fantastic
On to business : My father-in-law smokes and has tried to quit a few times. I know he can do it - and I think this would be way better for him. I Want' to get him going with something that is a lot like cigarettes - something simple, that looks like a smoke. I also like the idea of being able to refill carts to save money - what is best to go with for him?
Also - even though I don't smoke - THIS sounds fantastic - tons of flavours, and lots of options to buy stuff with no nicotine! I like the idea of it being very much like a smoke too - nothing too long or too big. I don't mind charging batteries and carrying around a bit of kit - in fact i kinda dig that. i like the idea of coming up with my own liquids, but need to learn more about what can go in these things... i'm reading!
So finally - the questions :
1. what sort of device (available in canada - this is a must - importing even from the US is a huge pain and takes way longer/costs more than it should) would you reccommend to get us started? 401's seem popular but have drawbacks i guess - unless you like to 'dip'? I'll show him how to use everything and refill his carts - seems easy enough to do.
2. if i 'dip' how long does that last for? (just estimates - i understand you can't know all the models performance)
3. Has anyone out there who is a non-smoker taken this up as a 'hobby'? seems like the kind of thing I could get into - maybe start distributing stuff!
4. lastly - do any distributors need a CRACK web-programming/graphics guru to work on their site in exchange for some gear and an introduction to the business?
Had to put that out there!
Thanks again so much to all of you for reading this - and for all your contributions - I've learned a ton just reading. i think I'll cross-post this in the Canadian area too - hope that's ok.
Cheers,
Telemole73
