I have to say, I came here last night for some much-needed fun, and FUN you all provided.

Thank you all, with particular appreciation to the OP, for rolling this snowball down the proverbial hill. :toast:

Waffle-cat, Cheryl Ladd, AND baboon-boobs, just to name a few. Oh yeah, and even a CHART!

Simply AWESOME.

You are a cruel person.

My heart bleeds...

If it makes you feel any better, I paid 3.55 for a gallon of gas, sit in traffic for 45 mins to an hour to travel 15 miles on the freeways. And everyone who owns a Prius didn't buy one to be "environmentally friendly" but to get that special sticker to drive in the carpool lane.

IT DOES! Thanks, MrStik.

I don't care if ProVari makes a new mod. If they made one with a greater power capacity, I would buy it, so long as their commitment to quality and accuracy remained a priority.

What you guys don't get is that crap like VW, puff counters, and the other BS that is on an eVic, Vamo, or whatever doesn't matter to your average ProVari user. We simply don't value that junk.

Why do you care what we want in our mod of choice? I like vintage Chevelles, too. That doesn't mean I am afraid of a Prius!

Interested in a 1966 Chevelle SS 396 by any chance? I'll be looking at them at the next Mecum Auto Auction in Kissimmee next January.

It took a long time to find it. My Dad worked 41 years for Chevrolet in Tarrytown, NY and I set out to find a two tone 57 built in Tarrytown, NY. Finally I found one with all matching numbers and the T in the Vin number. 283 V8 4 barrel carb, and 2 speed powerglide transmission.

I started reading this thread from the last page backward. Ohh I love threads like this. Waffle Cat must be saved as a mascot in the waffle taco debates!

A visitor from the future!

Tell me, who should I bet in the Super Bowl? Will bell bottoms ever make a comeback? WHERE ARE THE FLYING CARS THE JETSONS PROMISED US?!?!?!

69-72 are my favorite years. Not that there's anything wrong with the '66.

I woke up this morning to a balmy -1. Thought a palm tree was about to sprout in my back yard.

The saddest thing of them all, when there is a chance at precipitation, We go into full "storm watch". OMG it is drizzling!!

But light drizzles do suck here. Just enough water on the roads to pull up all the oil residues left on the roads. Slick driving is not fun when people here do not know how to drive.

Small Rant: Everyday there are multitudes of single car accidents on the freeways of Orange County.. I always have to wonder... HOW the hell do you get into a single car accident on a freeway? You are going straight!! No sudden or unexpected tricky turns. "Damn, that wall I am driving parallel with just came out of nowhere!!" /end rant.

On a very related note to this thread and the original topic.... It has finally FREEZING in Southern California as the temperature dipped into the high 50s and low 60s.

My tummy hurts, MrStik! I'm from your neck o' the woods and it is all soooooooooooooooo true! But it really IS cold today! Brrrrrrrrr...... heater on, blankets nearby, and the sweater is already shouldered. It's only going up to 65 today!!! Brrrrr again.

But do tell... how did you actually go 15 miles in only 45-to an hour??? AWESOME time ya made, you little speed demon. ;)

Storm Watch, 2014 was yesterday, right? With massive drizzles... just enuf to make us think rain was coming. Sigh, oh how I wish it would RAIN!

You drive next to the wall???? I detest the wall. I have wall-a-phobia. Shudder.
