My tummy hurts, MrStik! I'm from your neck o' the woods and it is all soooooooooooooooo true! But it really IS cold today! Brrrrrrrrr...... heater on, blankets nearby, and the sweater is already shouldered. It's only going up to 65 today!!! Brrrrr again.

But do tell... how did you actually go 15 miles in only 45-to an hour??? AWESOME time ya made, you little speed demon. ;)

Storm Watch, 2014 was yesterday, right? With massive drizzles... just enuf to make us think rain was coming. Sigh, oh how I wish it would RAIN!

You drive next to the wall???? I detest the wall. I have wall-a-phobia. Shudder.

I don't drive next to the wall. I did not buy a Prius so I can drive in the carpool lane. And I guess I make good time because I am actually driving in Orange County vs Los Angeles County. I love how the i5 in Orange County has like 8 lanes and then closes down to 3 lanes full of potholes once you enter LA County.

I also am off work at 3pm so I beat a lot of traffic. And once I get home, I stay away from the freeways, but I have to contend with Disneyland Traffic. And Anaheim Ducks traffic as well.

On the note of the weather, I was wearing shorts up until this weekend. Now that it is "storming" as soon as it is over, will check the mountains to see if we can go snowboarding soon..

My God, people.

65 degree drizzle panic?

Only in California...

Tapped out

Agreed. 10 degrees colder & it would still be shorts weather here. I don't even put on my coat until it hits at least -15, and not always then either. I didn't pull out my coat at all last winter.

I like your style! Seriously, I do. You post with just the right balance of sincerity and snark. Yeah, I'm a fan. Not in a creepy, stalker kind of way.

I've always wanted to be a stalker, but I was never quite ambitious enough to follow through on the dream (sigh).

Big? I just bought one because it's small!
I mean, compared to my first 2 mods...

I don't own a Provari, and I highly doubt I ever will, only because they are just too big and heavy. From reading posts by Provari owners in this thread and many others, it seems the one thing that mostly sets them apart is their toughness. If we are going to make car comparisons, I wouldn't compare them to a Porche or Farrari. I think the best car comparison would be a Hummer. Expensive and tough with a great warranty. Provari, the Hummer of APVs.;)

Somewhat unrelated, but am I the only one who hears,
Prooovariiii, ohhh oh,
Provariiii, oh oh oh ohhh

whenever I see the name?

If that song gets stuck in your head, my apologies.:)

If it makes you feel any better, I paid 3.55 for a gallon of gas, sit in traffic for 45 mins to an hour to travel 15 miles on the freeways. And everyone who owns a Prius didn't buy one to be "environmentally friendly" but to get that special sticker to drive in the carpool lane.

I'm a homesick native Angelino, so I'm not moved by your plight. And I pay more for gas.

You know what I like about my Provaris? The same thing I liked about all my Toyota Corollas.

They can put up with my abuse and neglect and keep going and going and going...lol

Just for the record, the only reason I ever replaced a Corolla was because the A/C would go out every 13 years or so and I live in Arizona. :D

Owned two Toyotas. Had problems with both. One had issues with the clutch that they could never fix and the other had electrical problems. Have a ford focus now and it is almost 5 years old and haven't even replaced the battery on it yet.

All were bought brand new.
