I feel like you don't know enough about the A7 and M7 processors to make statements like that. You can hate on iOS7 all you want. But on a technical level the iPhone 5s is pretty outstanding and outclasses everything else. Forget about the best on class camera, touch ID finger print reader etc etc. look solely at the silicon inside the phone and find another one on the market that's even close. Also the move to 64 bit has immediate uses because it allows them to run the ARM v8 instruction set which is vastly better than ARM v7 which every single other still uses. Read this review AnandTech | The iPhone 5s Review

Correct me if I am wrong, but those benchmarks are browser tests? If so, then Safari 64 bit will be very optimized to take full advantage of the 64 bit capabilities.

The silicon itself, yes, it is impressive, and I agree with you that ARM8 is vastly superior to ARM7. And if I am understanding iOS7 correctly, it is written to run 64 and 32 right? While the chip under the hood is quite impressive, the phone itself is not tapping into the full potential of 64 bit if the vast majority of the apps are written in 32 bit. So they are sitting pretty for the future once developers start to get onto the 64 bit wagon.

And I'm not really a fan of Tom Brady, or the Patriots either, but they got ROBBED the other night.

I agree, but then again they cheated against the Jets and were not stripped of the victory. I hate people getting robbed, but when it comes down to the Patriots, any injustice to them is justice for everyone else.

I just find it highly irritating that provape cant even offer a beauty ring this late in the game and I have to run around the web looking for something that would cost them pennies to make and throw in the package.

and more then once i have found attys that wont reach the pin with the ring making me use a different device to enjoy them.

I like provape, i like my provari and i wont stop recommending them to vapors looking for a reliable and durable mod, but I do not disagree with the sentiment of them getting too comfortable with their position, I still use it but it has become more of a backup to mods I think have what the provari is missing. (pretty much the ultimate backup device though).

I will always agree its worth having, but once you do have one to rely on there are other things worth playing with.

I don't own a Provari, and I highly doubt I ever will, only because they are just too big and heavy. From reading posts by Provari owners in this thread and many others, it seems the one thing that mostly sets them apart is their toughness. If we are going to make car comparisons, I wouldn't compare them to a Porche or Farrari. I think the best car comparison would be a Hummer. Expensive and tough with a great warranty. Provari, the Hummer of APVs.;)

Somewhat unrelated, but am I the only one who hears,
Prooovariiii, ohhh oh,
Provariiii, oh oh oh ohhh

whenever I see the name?

If that song gets stuck in your head, my apologies.:)

The Droid x2 came out in June of 2011. The iPhone 3GS came out in June of 2009. So comparing those phones isn't really fair. A more apt comparison against the droid x2 is the iPhone 4S, which runs ios7 just fine.

Thanks...that's more what I was talking about.

I would get a new phone but Verizon locks you in for 2 year contract. So by the end of 2 yrs you are at least a year overdue for a phone/os update.

Oh and sorry for going off topic. I do own and enjoy my provari... but am real tempted to get a VW model. If Provape would come out with a VW I would buy it. My provari is rugged and dependable.

You know what I like about my Provaris? The same thing I liked about all my Toyota Corollas.

They can put up with my abuse and neglect and keep going and going and going...lol

Just for the record, the only reason I ever replaced a Corolla was because the A/C would go out every 13 years or so and I live in Arizona. :D

Toyota has the world record in automobile recalls. Compare the Provari to something like a Porsche.

Not for the years I purchased...lol

It doesn't take much research to find that out.

Besides, I'd rather deal with a company that voluntarily puts the word out and makes good on issues with their products than one that doesn't and waits until it's forced to.

shiiiii

my buddy has a toyota from the 70's with several hundred thousand miles on it the odometer has spun around so many times it broke lol, you can see daylight through the rust spots, every time you slam the door a small piece falls off and you have to open the trunk with a screwdriver. yet hot or cold turn the key once and it runs like a top.
