Not for the years I purchased...lol

It doesn't take much research to find that out.

Besides, I'd rather deal with a company that voluntarily puts the word out and makes good on issues with their products than one that doesn't and waits until it's forced to.

Back to your research. Toyota was fined more the any auto company in US history for not reporting their runaway cars. First they blamed the floor mats, then they blamed a US company for sticky accelerators, finally they admitted to a computer malfunction. They were certainly forced to admit they deceived law makers.

Feds fine Toyota $17 million more for unintended-acceleration issue - Los Angeles Times

I may not know all about the Provari but I do know the auto industry.

Bam......Ordered......I should have that bad boy by this summer.

Ok all jokes aside, here is my :2c: on this subject..... I have a mvp 2 I have an SVD on the way. I have egos I have an ego T mod. I have viva novas I have protanks I have carto tanks. But I got into rebuildables because I wanted my vaping to be self sustained if the worse case scenero happens and big brother bans access to vaping supplies.

For this reason I plan on buying myself a Provari for christmas not because of it's bells and whistles but because I know I can count on it. The ProVari will be my tool, and every other mod I currently own and will own in the future will be toys........I like toys they are lots of fun but they are toys not tools.

So it is like comparing a Chevy z71 to a quad. The Chevy will take me to work and haul junk in it and always starts and will probably never need to be replaced just maintained.. The quad is for having fun and jumping stuff breaking stuff and then upgrading to the latest and greatest.

And yet, after 2 Corollas and a Tercel I never had an issue. Both Corollas are still driving, too, as I sold the earlier one to my son and the second to my stepfather.

I guess my personal experience with the cars works out better than Google. The newest of the 2 cars is 2001.

It has nothing to do with Google. Glad your cars lasted so long. No doubt they were made in Japan when you purchased them. You stated Toyota was upfront with recalls and the fact is they were not upfront at all.

You DO know this is a ProVari vs (other PV) thread, right?

Don't buy a Toyota. I like them. I like my ProVaris, too, because they've all served me well and that's good enough for me. :)

But it's a game! lol

Someone says something negative and other people say, "nuh UH!" and back and forth until someone else says, "these threads come up every week" and someone else will say, "But as long as it keeps us all off analogs it's all good, right?" etc.

I mean, we COULD play Monopoly but nobody ever reads the rules on the lid of the box, anyway, and we KNOW these rules. :p

Evil, best post of the day, kiddo!

But you left out the :pop:

I'm just gonna sit this one out on the bench and enjoy some popcorn & Pepsi. Everyone knows how I feel about Provari anyway.

Ah! There it is! You're good Bad. ;)

I remember when I thought a Provari was made in Italy :p

Somewhat unrelated, but am I the only one who hears,
Prooovariiii, ohhh oh,
Provariiii, oh oh oh ohhh

whenever I see the name?

If that song gets stuck in your head, my apologies.:)

Abstolutely you are not alone! You beat me to the punch on this one but I'll just leave you with an instrumental version so that you can create your own lyrics. ;)

Pro---Vaaaah-ri, oh oh
Prrrrro-Vaaaa-ri, oh oh oh oh
Let's vape way up with our clouds
Away from the smokening crowds
We can vape in the glow of a PV that I know of
Where fankids enjoy peace of mind
Let us leave the confusion, the disillusion and all haters behind

Una musica dolce suonava soltanto per me... Grazie, Pro-vap-eh!

The song. It is in my head, too. Ricardo Montalban sings it there.

Yes I'm well aware of the thread. Did I or YOU make the car comparison?

Personally I don't get why Provari fans are so anti innovation, it's not like Provari would stop making the version 2.5, nobody would force them (apart from their own peer pressure) to buy an updated one. What are you scared of?

Innovation drives what economy there is so why stand still as someone whether in the US or another country will match or exceed Provari. Time waits for no one. Personally I feel the eGo thread is superior to the 510, but that might open up another can of worms.

Oh sigh.

The members who post on ECF are a small segment of the vaping world. The members who like debating VV vs VW are an even smaller group. Smaller still are the number of people who would run out and buy a ProVari if it came out in VW. ProVape is a business, they are in this to make money. "You" are not their target customer. Their target customers are people like my friends, who bought ProVaris because they liked mine. It's well made, durable and comes with a warranty. End of story. They don't know a watt from a wallaby and couldn't care less. It's little, it fits in your purse, and $200.00 is nothing if it's your only mod and you aren't running around trying every new toy that hits the market.

Why would a profitable company redesign their best selling product when it sells just fine the way it is? You can ask Coca-Cola about that stroke of genius. I'm not saying it's the best device on the planet. I'm not saying it suits the needs of every vaper. What I'm saying is don't get a ProVari if you don't want one. In fact, I don't want you to get a ProVari at all, we are running out of ice on the veranda.
Because you can't drink a Provari? It has no flavor, which can be distinguished by multiple profiles... Nice comparison...

The Semovar is looking like a contender! Never mind a well made DNA mod...

Because it would imply they like dated gear. God forbid...everybody hangs on the retro thing with eeeeevrything else, but nooooo this isn't dated. It's my baby...pfffffbt.

I do like a well mad mod. So much more entertaining than an ill sane one. *rimshot*

I hope you brush properly after eating that. Popcorn lodged between teeth is a prime way to collect plaque.
I love popcorn just like the next person...but man do those shell pieces turn up days later. Even with good bushings, you may have got one so far down between the gum and the tooth, it takes days to wiggle back up. Dentists hate popcorn...
