what percentage do you use.....and do you add any sweetener or anything else to it?

50/50 pg/vg, 6mg nicotine, 5ml of flavoring per 50 ml juice. It's not as strong as MBV premix, but tastes great to me.

Used to use a few drops of MBV sweetener, no longer do that, as my VG is pretty sweet.

The hardest transition for me is from 12mg to 6mg.. its a big jump in mg and its been really tough for me (mostly because I need a throat hit)

I got a kayfun and RDA for the fact that using 6mg can still hit you just as hard and its been a much easier transition than using 6mg in a clearo

I am down to 6mg from a start of 18mg over a year ago, and I am wondering if a Russian 91% or kayfun would help me down to 3mg. Right now I'm using the aspire coils and aerotank, sometimes evod or miniPT with cotton at 6.5W - 8W. But I'm not interested in subohm vaping. It seems that most people that use these are into subohms, or am I wrong about that?

Using e cigs I am now successfully over two weeks without a cigarette. A huge victory considering I never went a day without an entire pack of cigs.

First things first homie! You have to go through the proper protocol - ego batteries to twists to mech mods to rebuildables etc.

Reducing Nic levels is later :)

If you start dabbling with DIY juice, you might also consider stepping down on flavor in addition to nicotine. Sometimes I think my hankering for ecigs involves not only a hankering for nicotine, but also for flavor. Started out at 20% flavor. Moved to 10%. Now at about 5%. Sometimes I vape unflavored, which actually has a subtle flavor of its own. Using smaller amounts of nicotine and flavor is economical, and might be healthier, and might make it easier to quit vaping sometime in the future, if that is your goal.

This is what I do.

I get what you mean, I think its tough to cipher through all the non-subohming users to find the ones who don't lol .. most will say they use the Kayfun/Russians because of the flavor alone .. I know plenty who don't 'cloud chase' and just use regular 1.5-2.0 coils in them (which is what i do) ..

I used 12mg in my kayfun when I first got it and WOW .. the nicotine hit me like a ton of bricks (and this is when i was using 18mg for awhile too so I figured 12mg would be fine in the RBA, boy was I wrong lol)

For me the biggest problem with dropping the nic level was losing the throat hit. I used to talk to my friend (who I introduced to vaping after me) and when he talked about throat hit I always mentioned how I didn't ever really notice any throat hit....that was until this week when I dropped from 18 to 12mg (started at 24). Now I definitely know what he was talking about with throat hit because now it's gone - and it's bothering me a bit. So while I mainly vape on the couple different 12mg I got, I've always had a tank filled with 18 nearby just in case I get any cravings.

I entered vaping at 6mg because I was only smoking 5 or 6 cigs a day and it felt comfortable but for some reason just last week I cut out the nic for seven days and it was OK until I found myself getting sort of spaced out and irritable. I went back to 6mg after a short foray into 10mg to straighten out. I actually mentally toyed with the idea of smoking cigarettes again during that no-nic period. It really twisted my thinking around.

Each individual would be different. When I started out, I read about how users were able to drop their nic levels pretty quickly. I tried that, and it was a complete failure for me. I started at 18mg and had to move up to 24mg to 36 mg. One and a half years later, I'm still at 24-36mg. At 18mg, it feels "insubstantial" to me.

So as long as it keeps your craving in check, I wouldn't worry about the nic levels.

Some vape for the nic, some vape for the flavour, some vape for the vapour. You'll have to find where you belong.

I dropped fairly fast as well, I went from 18 to 12 within a month or two, maybe 3 months in went to 6 and kept a 12mg around for a drinking buddy, about 6 months in I was alternating between 6 and 0 which is where I still am 7 or 8 months later...thought I was gonna quit vaping altogether from the way it was going but that hasnt happened yet :)

I've had some issues. Started on 24 just to feel it and worked into vaping all was pretty good. When I got to 2 smokes a day started to get head buzzing feeling at times mostly only middle of day (about 6 weeks in). Quit for a few days and it still happened, quit for 10 days and started to get gut issues like mild cramps in addition. One torch and it was gone so went back to 1-2 a day but dropped to 12 nic, now to 6. Don't get as much effect but seem to be even more sensitive to nic, but 6 is working ok. Going to try no smoke again now that I have some flavors in 6 and one in zero. I've been a little paranoid, all was ok until I quit all the way and I don't want any issues though I didn't/don't seem to have any serious health issues.

So it could have been too much nic was making problems for me, but I needed 24 when I started and it worked fine long as I smoked over 2/day. I did have some headaches and other typical withdraw symptoms as I cut down analogs, which I did over about 2 months and I'm in about the 4th now. I have not had big cravings really, but its not nice when the vaping stops working lol, was happy to get some 6nic and have it work ok. Note I don't chain vape don't have the time to and can't at work, and I only use smaller ego based stuff. That may be why 24 worked for me. I dropped from 24 to 6 in maybe 2-3 weeks with things not working that well, but I stuck with it. It sucked having to smoke so I could vape lol, I was hot. Using some 3 month old ryo tobac, not very tasty either but thats ok.

I started at a high dose nic juice, which was too much on occasion. I moved down to 18 mg within a matter of weeks, down to 12 mg in another few weeks, and I am now alternating between 0 and 6 mg after 14 months of vaping and cigarette-free. To be honest, I believe that the craving for an e-cig and e-juice is nowhere near as powerful as the urge for a cigarette by an addicted cigarette smoker. To this day, I am STILL pleasantly shocked at how easy it was to quit, and how easy it was to step down the nic.

I agree excepting my digestive timing or whatever it is, things still work just not synchronized properly lol. Hopefully just need more adjustment time. Otherwise I would be sailing smooth and completely smoke free. It was easier than I thought. The head buzzing is about gone with the 6mg now so this week has been better.
