So I'm a month in to using a KGo with some Boge cartomizers and 24mg liguids. I would really like to improve the throat hit and from I understand the next step to improving TH (other than using menthol) is increased warmth and voltage.

So I have been considering a Provari. Is there any reason to look at something else? I dont like the form factor of the darwin so the Provari seems like the next best bet. Money isnt an issue. I'm thinking a Provari with a tank is a solid solution. Any reason to not go this route.

For me throat hit is absolute king!!!! :)

The new Provari offers the best range of wattage of any tube mod out there, with the right carto/atty it can go well beyond the old provari, the darwin, the lavatube and even the buzz pro, not that most people will NEED to get to 20+ watts, but you could...

Only reasons not to get one, besides cost, would be you don't like the button system it employs, you don't like or need VV, or you are allergic to metal tube mods

And you can't find a belt strong enough to keep your pants from falling down when it's in your pocket. Possible back problems down the road. The hindsight that you'd rather carry your Kgo on the go but you just can't stand it now compared to your new Provari!

Get one! And maybe a pair of suspenders!

I've only been vaping for a month and started off with a KGo. Thing is, i'm a heavy duty vaper and I like to fiddle with my gear and the KGo just seems insufficient for my needs (i.e. battery life, durability, TH, versatility).

Tried the Lavatube and it was offering me what my KGo was lacking... But i managed to break it within 2 weeks. I just ordered a Provari and wished I just went ahead with that from the get go haha

Don't get me wrong here....but maybe it should be called ProVaping! I don't have one, but you know if there was a system that pretty much guaranteed you would quit, or your money back, it should probably be the Provari, from all I read.

Anyone having issue with the Provari electronics?

Sorry I'm hijacking this thread.

But wouldn't the GGTS be a better sturdier, long lasting, more beautiful mod than a Provari?

I ain't confident if I can hand down my Provari to my kid if say *cross-fingers* he's a nicotine junkie like me.

Cozzzz.. Electronics do not last..
Do they?

The v2 provari with its 3.5 amp limit is super versatile and with the 18650 adapter the battery life is pretty good too. The size and weight are the only reasons that I mostly use it for home use only and use a Ego C style for out and about.

The Pila charger is the best (non hobby) charger on the market and has an excellent reputation, if you are worried about over charging batteries.

I just stepped back up to 12mg nic from 6mg because I wasn't getting enough throat hit on my KGO. Right before my new juices came in I went ahead and filled a DC 1.5ohm clearomizer with some 6mg juice and it kicked my ... with throat hit. The 12mg came in, and now my throat hit is through the roof, lol. I'm running 70/30 juice though, so that may very well be it.

Looking at 24mg nic juice and the KGO not hitting hard enough with a Boge carto...you're the man, man. I can hardly handle 12mg.

GG not a variable voltage mod ??

Damnnn so I need both Provari and GG to be happy..

It will break my bank.. My wife gonna kill me
Arghhhhh

Just get the GG and the new "Kick" from the company that makes the Darwin, Evolv, and it turns the GG into a variable watt model. Both nhaler and Super T are going to be selling them for around $45.

Newbie here (in all mannerisms) flying through from stage 1 to stage 4 in a matter of a few days. I think I skipped stage 2 and 3 :)

25 years on analogs and a week before my conversion date of 2/21, I decided to give an e-cig a shot (njoy disposable at the gs). Meh... but a cheep way to try and a lackluster result indeed.

After 4 of those mixed in with analogs, finally decided to get a real (lol) e-cig (wish I found this site before I hit confirm). Ended up with green smoke after a bit of research. Worked well enough that I haven't wanted an analog since I got it on the 20th. 4 days later, I'm hooked on this pv stuff.

I found this site about 30 min. after ordering my phase 1 device. 4 days later of heavy reading, I ordered my Provari V2 this morning and registered here. Got a few options (cartos, attys, tips) coming with some sample juice. Really look forward to the adventure of finding what works for me.

So yeah, to keep this inline with the OP, why not buy one? Because you can buy two or maybe even 3. :p

Thanks for letting me get one of my first 15 post done via your thread and look forward to a long relationship with the site. On to research tank mods... Kinda like the concept and how they look on the Provari, just not sure who, what, or where to get yet.

A gimped Variable model, you could literally stick two Kicked up GG's turned up to max in your mouth at the same time and not create the same wattage the Provari V2 is capable of.

:) I really wish it wasnt so difficult for me to achieve the TH I'm looking for. The only reason I go for 24 is for TH. 18MG is fine Nic wise just not enough TH. Sometime's I wonder if I'm doing something wrong although I cannot imagine what it would be. I am hoping that the Provari will provide all of the things I am missing since I absolutely love vaping!

I am smoking all natural juices and am wondering if that may be contributing to the lower TH. Ahlusion, Vaperite and HighBrow Vapor is what I have been vaping. 30VG / 70pg and 50/50.

Goldenkobold answered my final hesitation, should I get a GG but it sounds like the Provari is going to provide more.

Thanks for all of the responses everyone!

We all get that you are a Darwin hater and stalk threads throwing out your negative BS. That's who you are.

There were seveal Kicks bought and used at the Atlanta Vape Meet and everyone was raving about them. Too bad you were not there to spread your negative BS about any model that you don't like. And you were also the original Lavatube Fanboy which is funny.

And for $45 the Kick costs instead of the $200+ for the Provari, for someone who already has a mechanical PV they like, I doubt anyone with any sense would follow your advice. But most on ECF do that anyway when it comes to your negative posts.
