I finally broke down and pre-ordered. I did have a few questions and I don't really have time to sift through 100s of posts to find the answers.

(1) About how long do the RCR123a batteries last with heavy usage? I like to vape alot, especially when drinking, and the thing I hate about my 801 is that the battery only lasts about 2 1/2 hours before I have to recharge. I think I remember you saying that yours lasts a good 6 hours with heavy use until you feel the need to replace them, but I just wanted to clarify.

(2) Now that there is only 1 battery option, what are the main differences between the 801 and 901 atomizers? My sister's husband is about to order a Prodigy and he was wondering about that and I don't really have an answer for him. Is there a difference in vapor production, flavor, length, etc? Please clear this up for me.

I appreciate it Steve! Can't wait to get my Prodigy! =]

A: I put it this way ... I am awake for roughly 16-17 hours a day. I go through 2 full rotations ... This entails breaks to eat and do other things, etc... Someone who is not a heavy user can likely get a good 8-10+ hours ... Heavy vaping I would put in the realm of 5-6 hours before a noticeable difference is seen.

A: Just comes down to personal preference. I used to be a die hard 901 fan ... That's all I used on my usb for 4-5 months. Since the Prodigy, I have become a huge fan of the 801 and now that is all I use ... Both provide good flavor/vapor production/etc... As far as length ... Don't really feel thats important considering the device itself is larger than your ordinary PV :)

Hey Necro ... See my answers in RED :) Not a problem...

Thanks

Steve just stated that the New Prodigy lasts him "around 6 hours" before he feels the batteries need to be changed. Its been stated that the voltage change was for two reasons 1) That the 3.7 volt option was not strong enough and the other 6volt option was a "Liquid Hog" and was probably going to fry some atomizers with novice use. Steve describe's the new 5v configuration as "THE SWEET SPOT" in his research of making the Prodigy perfect. Hope that helps...:D
