OKAY, you are missing the point.... STEVE JOBS WAS AN INNOVATOR, AN INVENTOR, whether you like it or not he changed the world of technology. He may have not invented it per say, nobody but mother nature invented electricity, but someone figured out how to put it to use................. He took what was and made it better..............
I have an hp laptop, a pc I BUILT MYSELF FROM THE GROUND UP.. A canon camera, a samsung smart phone, an ipod touch, an original buzz, an lg flat screen tv, a brother printer, a bose radio..... I am not locked into one brand... I don't even own a sony anything.............. That is not the point.... The point is the man had A BRILLIANT MIND, and I for one appreciate that... I am sad in his passing... I don't care if you don't like his product, but a narrow mind is ugly imo... I love a mind that is not afraid to take that leap into the unknown to see if it will work. I am not a sheep that just goes w/the masses. I will not own a new pv just cuz it's the latest craze. And I loved Waylon Jennings. Wait he didn't invent music either, but he sure as the hell was a good songwriter/musician. AH ANOTHER CREATIVE MIND...

I am so used to it NOW ,that when a bunch of execs came in from mass with their laptops ( they didnt carry mice ) i had to use one and absolutely cannot control it with the pad alone ..what a dork i am ....i had to attach a mouse in order to go thru and audit a spreadsheetthey laughed alot .But to be fair ,when youre on the road youre used to just scrolliing around .I sat at a desk .

My Senior year in High School we had an elective called "Programming Computers"..I took it & there is a pic of me in the yearbook holding what looks like a telephone switchboard....all these wires everywhere! Connect the red wire to hole 3 from the left in row 1 & the other end to hole 24 on the right row 14...HUH???????
And the entire computer was the size of an 18 cu.ft. refrigerator. Remember the movie War Games? Yup like that!
Our first home computer was a Mac Performer 450 ..my oldest daughter was about 11.
I fell in love with it once my kids taught me how to use it
I don't care who stole what from who or when, home computers changed our lives and Steve Jobs tho not alone had a good deal to do with how we communicate today.
