Trach tube finally went in yesterday afternoon. He looks better without the strap that was holding the vent tube.
They are going to lessen his sedation today, I think this is good.

I am so sorry Classwife, I just found this today. My heart goes out to you and sending prayers your way from Canada. There is nothing more stressful in life than when a family member is gravely ill and when it takes longer for them to recover that what you have been told or expected. I am lighting a candle for you and your husband. Prayers coming your way...

That sounds like great news, Classy! I am so very happy to hear that things seem to be looking up 
I know this sounds corny...but you can do this. And so can he. Keep your chin up and remember....He wouldn't give you anything you can't handle. Still sending you oodles of love and strength. 
Classy, it does sound like things are moving in the right direction. I hope lessening the sedation went well today and that Steve continues to get stronger. (((hugs)))

Classy! I just saw this and OMG! I had no idea what you have been going through. Im glad that its looking better.Im so sorry for not seeing this. I will keep you and Steve in my thoughts today and hope for possitive things to happen.((((Classy)))) You amaze me with your strength.
