I ordered 4 600mAH Trustfire batteries off eBay last year. They took 5 weeks to arrive over the Xmas period, but have almost double the life of the standard batts and work perfectly. Cost around R50 (including postage) for 4 (i.e. less than the cost of 1 Twisp/Janty battery in SA)!

I was going to buy some of these batteries but something put me off:

Product print '600mAh', the exact capacity is 350mAh

So, the standard batteries are 320mAh so not much of an improvement?

My standard Stick batts have 360mAh printed on them. What we're actually getting from China is anybody's guess.

A little birdie told me that e-cigarette stuff is going to have to be tested for compliance to SA electrical standards soon and if non-compliant, Customs will block it's entry. That could mean trouble, we know China's electrical standard is something like 'it ho-kay if 1 out of evely 2 actually woks'.

so where does this "exact capacity" number come from??? Everything is made in China so how can you claim one set of batts is marked accurately and another not....

besides, even at 350mAh, they are still less than the price of a single Twisp battery (and that's for FOUR!)

I got mine from a China supplier (HG), which is where I got my stick from also as I found the Twisp starter kit quite pricey.

It all I use now, the 510 converter, it's probably just me but i've had some bad times using the low and high bridge 801 attys with it.

I must say how much I enjoy using the stick...

Well hi again Aucorium …
Got a Stick-Dura converter for my Twisp stick - one off from Twisp – as they (T) don’t plan to stock it.
Sorta works – but atty seems to work far better (vapor and t-Hit) with original Dura or 510 (blue light) batts.
I suspect faulty connections or something …
Have you tried vaping stick with converter and switching atty to original 510 batt to test difference???
…Anyway I have ordered a converter (and some other stuffff) from HC – hope it works with Twisp unit – Joye V3 Stick uses a 301??? atty …

One thing I would suggest is making sure it is screwed in tight maybe get a pair of pliars to tighten it up and clean the connetors with a cotton swab.

I only really used the attys with my stick and a 510 PT, the PT definately was stronger than in my stick, but from what i've read the PT could have been running at 4.2v. I did put it on a relatively new 510 battery once and it did seem stronger, but thought that was a new battery.

I suppose the bottom line is it is running through a few more connectors so I guess there would be some form of power loss through each of the joints.

The 301 atty I "think" might be the low bridge version of the 801 atty.

Some interesting links...

1963 eCig Patient:
New Invention of 1963: The Smokeless Non-Tobacco Cigarette | Electronic Cigarettes by Instead E-Cigarette

And...
From end February 2010, the Janty eGo will be sold as an OEM product worldwide.

This means that other shops can buy the Janty eGo and put their name on it and sell it as they please.

However, it is still a Janty invention, and a Janty design. The eGo and the Jantystick and even the kissbox will be mass manufactured and packaged as OEM products at Joyetech, powered by Janty, with the same quality, safety standards and stylish finishing from Janty.

... From another fourm :
Joye eGo questions : Electronic Cigarette Questions

Soo maybe we can start getting eGo batterys next month ... from China :)
