sticky residue on carto......

i usually order the silver boges, well they were out of stock at the vendor i was ordering from so i got the black ones. they wouldnt go into my tank so i took the sticker wrap thing off one to see if that would change things. it fits now but it has residue from the sticker all over it. how would i go about removing that nasty mess?

There are old threads about this, if you wish to search. I remember vegetable oil?? Just don't use anything remotely toxic.

There's a product called "Sticker Lift" made by Goo-Gone that works very well. It can be purchased at some craft stores. You can also just stick the cartos in the freezer for 10-15 minutes and they will peel right off cleanly.
