Still learning, but have a question

I am using my first SI clearo. I was watched the video on how to clean it with water, but I was wondering if cleaning it with alcohol would work better. I have some ethanol that I have used to clean CE3's, and was wondering if it is ok to do the same with a clearo. Any input would be appreciated.

If you want to clean with alcohol, use grain alcohol. Personally, I don't find a need. Just rinse well and do a dry burn

Only use alcohol designed for consumption (vodka, Everclear) as you will be putting this in your body and don't want to risk poisoning yourself.

I'd stay away from the ethanol and just use water or vodka. You can take out the silicon piece that the mouthpiece butts against if you want to. It does help getting water into and out of the clearo and only takes a paperclip with a tiny "L" one the end to hook it and pull it off then a pair of needlenose to get it out. It sound like more work than it is, but it isn't really necessary for normal cleaning.
