Still new and learning

I have been vaping for just under two weeks now and really love it. I started with an eGo and bought low resistance dual coil cartomizers for it. I want to try higher resistance cartomizers soon to see the difference. I'm learning a lot in a short period of time with these things but there's still a long way to go. I'll have to be slow because of finances but I intend to try at least a couple of different setups as time goes on. I have had one bad learning experience so far. I burned the battery out on one of my eGo's by keeping it in my pants pocket while napping and accidentally holding the button on. From now on I will only keep one in my pants pocket while I'm at work and moving about. I hate making a mistake like this but I guess now I can justify buying that 1000mah hot rod battery and different cartomizers. We live and learn! Analogs be gone!

I am new to vaping too, using the 510 and 510-T. I had mine in my pocket and must have hit the button. I felt burning on my leg, luckily I seemed to catch in in time and noting happened to the battery or atomizer. I have a PCC to keep an extra battery and supplies in but I am looking for a small case to put in my pocket so I don't accidentally compress the button again. Not a big case, something small just to hold one 510.

Where I usually am
The eGo is a good batt to start and the pocket thing I think has happened to all of us. So far it sounds like you are on the right track......Analogs be gone!! Love it!!
You say you want to try a higher resistance carto? In my own experiance, a 3ohm and up resistance carto requires a bigger battery. One that will put out 4 to 6 volts. The LR cartos you have should be perfact on your eGo.
Enjoy this site...here you can find all you need to know.

I try to always shut the battery off on my ego-t before putting it in my pocket. One of the features that makes me love this thing. For those of you looking for a carrying case but don't want to spend money on it, I found that mine fits perfect in an old eyeglasses case. It even has room for all the extras I need to be out and about all day.
