Ok, I think I got that Cartomizers are like the "first e-cigs" or 880's I think I read, like Blue would be the biggest brand name I can think of... I have a 510 thread; which I know is 3 parts. But I cannot find a like page that will show me what each and every part is and which parts are what and what they do (maybe). The guy went through it at the store but my memory isn't too good. It's an EVOD I guess... Anyway, any pages or information would be much appreciated :)

Basically, there are a few main parts that it consists of... there is the actually housing that holds the liquid, and there is wick, coil, and a head. The wick in your particular tank are located at the bottom and are the short "string-like" things poking out of a metal cap. Around the wick there is a coil, a metal wire(not visible without being disassembled) that is wrapped around the wick and this vaporizes the liquid that is saturated into the wick. the wire from the coil comes off in 2 separate segments and 1 is a possitive post and 1 negative. these are what conduct the electricity from the battery and allow the liquid in the wicks to be turned into vapor, which then runs up the center tube and is what you inhale. Hopefully i covered most of it and gave you a better understanding

A cartomizer is a cartridge and atomizer combined. It contains both the filler material and heating element.

Older kits were three pieces- a cartridge with filler that fit on the atomizer and they fit on your battery. Most mini's (cigarette sized) are either a 510 like you have or a KR808.

Do you have a mini/cigarette sized battery?

We don't really like to send members on a u-tube or google search. That's what the forum is for. :)

Much obliged...honestly, the forum is much easier to get info and obviously more friendly then the cold, heartless stare of a google search. I don't mine using google and youtube; but it was terribly overwhelming...and even though I paid for college courses on research (LOL) I still forget, at times what to search, then you end up with not the right info or just selling pages. Got a link to a great page within the forum and a couple outside too that I think will be helpful. :)

No, I had one of those...a couple years ago tried it to help quit; but it was a no go, they didn't give me the TH I wanted and the battery would fail quickly. I actually still have them in a drawer somewhere; probably will give them away. Also, maybe I was not ready to quit, idk but I am very happy with what I have...Just have to get a new charger; went to charge last night & it cracked in half:oops: so my first experience hasn't been perfect but I am feeling determined. My lungs just hurt so bad from smoking and tired of stinking. Banned smoking indoors 5 yrs back because of the smell & yellow walls. we'll see how I fair this morning. After I got the e-cig I only had one half (barely) when rushing out late to be somewhere...otherwise nothing...not ganna be hard on meself though. Picked winter for this reason; if I want to put coats, scarves, boots, hats etc to go outside, when I have the ecig right in front of me; then I can go ahead and enjoy the snow... Thanks for your assistance :2cool::vapor:
