Ok guys gals. i have been vaping for almost 2 months now. I still need those 2 anologs. When i first get up i get my coffee and smoke and go out on the porch and smoke 1. Then i take my dogs for a walk come back and have 1 more cup of coffee with a smoke again. After that i start to vape.and sometimes i may take my e-cig with me when im walking the dogs and take a hit or 2, but i still am craving that anolog. after this i am fine for the rest of day. i have another cup of coffee at 5 pm when wife gets home but i vape then. I see so many posts that new people stopped totally. I feel lousy about it. Seems my wife is happy that i went from 1 1/2 pack down to 2 a day but still i am missing something. I still feel i havent found my nic level yet. well today is Thurs and i have % packages coming. lol. thats right 5. Merry Christmas to me from me. I definetely need that good TH all the time. Getting a package today from V4L also so maybe those Cowboys 24mg will help me a lot. Can anyone give me any advice. All you people that stopped right away congradulations. i sure wish i can stop and be happy with my e-cigs and liquids. I have M401, KR808 and Greencigs. Even though the Greencigs taste the best(to me anyway) the V4L KR808 gives me that TH once in awhile. The m401 which i still use is really smooth taste but no TH either. So again Help
Thanks and sorry for the long post.

I did that same routine the first couple days. When I got my first kit, I also ordered a 5ml bottle of 30mg Ecopure rich VG. What got me off that routine is before letting the dogs out, I would top off my cart with 3 drops of Ecopure in my cart of 24mg cappucino along with 2 drops in the atty. That killed the morning demons quicker than the straight 24mg PG. The vapor from the VG felt so much smoother and denser, that it felt alot more enjoyable. Also, first thing I do in the morning, is go right to the fridge and take a swig of Pepsi. This helped coat my mouth and throat and knock out the morning dryness better than just water, and made the first morning vape less harsh, while the coffee finished brewing.

Hey cos you are doing great from your previous intake of cigs! Don't beat yourself up over those two cigs a day, I'm sure you'll be down to 0 a day soon.
Just a thought, have you tried just not having any cigs in the house for a day and just vape in the morning? If they are easy to get to of course your going to smoke 'em ;)

cos, I too, had that 2 a day thing going on. I believe for me, it was mental, not physical. I would have 2 in the morning with my coffee. It was a powerful ritual that I enjoyed so much that I didn't want to give it up. It was what I thought about when I woke up and made the coffee every morning, I'd smoke those two while reading the news online and drinking my brew. There was an element of fear there, too, when I thought about giving them up.

One day, I decided to try picking up a pv instead of the cigs, all the while telling myself that if it was too much, then I could have the two. Once I did that, the craving was gone and I stopped them that day. It was just a matter of trying to do without them, but not making it so hard for myself, the difference in being forced to do something or not being forced.

It was like dealing with another person inside me when I tried to ditch those two cigs. I just had to let the smoker "me" know that if she couldn't handle losing those 2, then she could have them and the resistance was much less. (No, I am not schizophrenic.)

I did that too up until last week. I did not put *any* pressure on myself at all to quit, knowing that the right time would present itself. I had stopped ordering cartons of smokes, but I was still finishing one up. When that was gone, I didn't buy any more (this was Thanksgiving Day). I have had one cigarette since then, and I'm very glad I did. Not smoking was making me wonder if I was "missing something" like some talk about on here, and it was making me feel anxious. So, I bummed one off my sister. I was very nervous because I was expecting to find that "something" I might be "missing". What did I find? Nothing. There was no head rush, no feeling of "ahhhhh". Nothing. It wasn't particularly bad, but it wasn't particularly good either. I didn't need it, and now I know that. I'm not saying I'll never have another cigarette again, because I may very well have one occasionally. The difference now is that I don't need to have one. It's very freeing, and it has made not smoking anxiety-free. :)

Mebbe you can start by changing the underlying rituals.
Skip your morning cup of coffee, or make it a cup of tea or orange juice, or have it at a slightly different time, in a different location, or have a banana with your morning coffee, anything that changes the underlying routine gives you the opportunity to reestablish it with one that doesn't include a cigarette.
And plan a cigarette routine, a new one. once every 3 days, at 8:30 am, you go outside, and have a cigarette, with no coffee, nothing else, just standing about. but only 1 time on, say, tuesdays and fridays or something.
I think if you can get down to one smoke every 3 days you've got it broken.
Won't be easy, but should be easier.

I think this is a great idea! It's called "pattern interrupt" in Tony Robbins' world. :) It just might very well work for those who are having a hard time and just want to chuck them all.
