I've been off death sticks for 6 weeks now and I'm still sweating like crazy. Last night I could have sworn I peed in bed - that's how bad the sweating is, but mostly from the waste down, which feels strange. I came back from the bathroom early in the morning and could see the outline of my legs and feet on the bed sheets! I had the AC on (around 74F) and was barely covered up. What's up with that? Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I don't have a particular section of my body that sweats more than others but, I've been off cancer sticks for well over 6 months. And I sweat like, well something that sweats A Lot! I've become. more abnormally hot (I prefer cold to begin with) and sweat as a result. I've also developed dots on my chest and back (not acne, kinda like small hives). I can't attribute this to not smoking or vaping or anything else, idk why it's happening, but has developed after I stopped smoking... I can't really help, just tell you you're not alone...

I was at 2-3 PAD and when I got down to a few ciggies a day I went thru the "body purge" ( best way to name it) I went thru the nite sweats, developed a "rash" on my back that lasted a couple of weeks, coughed up loads of crud, put on 8 lbs ( because food tastes and smells so much better ;) ). been off of ciggies now for 8ish months, no more coughing, weezing, blood pressure is at a normal level... even quit taking the BP meds ( by order of the Dr.) There are a few things I dont like about vaping.... since my sense of smell is better, the dog seems to be a bit more "aromatic" a few hours after it eats.... and there are way too many choices of flavors to choose from in the juice department... and way too many shiney things to buy :)

A lot of people have said that there feet aren't cold anymore or they are sweating. I walk around in shorts and a t-shirt with the AC at 72 and I am comfortable, the wife who still smokes is freezing.

The benefits of quitting smokes, your circulation is better and the result is you body will stay warmer.

@ CurlyxCracker: knowing I'm not the only one is already a lot :)

@Bunnykiller: undesirable aromas seem to be the biggest drawback. I too gained about 10 pounds, but that's because I haven't been exercising lately

Interesting... I did notice my feet weren't as cold at night, but I did not make the connection with the fact that the grocery store doesn't feel like the inside of a freezer when I'm in shorts and sandals anymore. That's also probably why I feel my AC is not performing too well this year.

I've always been a heavy sweater, so I'm not a good judge of that. But I've had oily skin or something since about 2 to 3 weeks off of cigarettes. I have some mild acne, like where used to I'd have a pimple once a week or something that was small and would go away, to where now I have acne bumps on my forehead and on my back, and if I get a pimple on my face it seems like it's deep and stays around longer.

Also, I'm right on the border line of needing to slightly step down my nicotine like on the weekends when I'm chain vaping while dripping. I can tell for sure that my body heat rises and I start sweating when I'm chain vaping like that blowing flavor junky type clouds with 18 mg nic. So I can definitely see where the increased nicotine levels would elevate body temperature leading the systems to produce more sweat to cool ourselves back down, as well as being a stimulant and increasing the heart rate for some people more than others.

Better heart rate, better circulation, more oxygen in your blood and a reduced heating bill in the winter.

Hell, I just realized vaping will save me money on natural gas. Added bonus!

I think I'm currently spending that saving on AC

I have had a small bout of unusual acne, but most of it is gone now. I always had slight acne problems for a couple of days after eating chips, though.

Also, I'm right on the border line of needing to slightly step down my nicotine like on the weekends when I'm chain vaping while dripping. I can tell for sure that my body heat rises and I start sweating when I'm chain vaping like that blowing flavor junky type clouds with 18 mg nic. I'm pretty much down to 15mg nic in regular aspire tanks (after I finish the remainder of the last 18mg bottle) and I'm at 6mg for my RBA. Too much nic caused me headaches and slight dizziness. I'm not chain vaping as much as I did in the first weeks of quitting cigarettes, but the nic overdose headaches definitely had something to do with that. At least I'm off tobacco with absolutely no desire to go back and no more cravings.

To get back to the sweating, I have always been a heavy sweater, but not to the point I could swear I peed in bed. I guess it's part of the healing process. I can't even say it has anything to do with drinking more water because I can tell I'm still not drinking enough; I have an extra dry mouth in the morning like I've been in the desert for too long. I think I'll try powering on a fan and see if that helps a bit.

It may help, I run a fan constantly. And Yeap I don't think you can drink enough water while vaping. If I posted a pic of my cup next to my mod it would make you laugh, and I still get the occasional dry mouth.

I may be sweating more in my sleep, I know my head sweats on the pillow more but I'm in Louisiana with an old person in the house who could be burning in hell and covered up with a comforter talking about how cold it is, so it's always too warm in the house, but I try to keep it on 68-72
