Anyone?

I've quit in December, and not cheated once. No desire. Dug myself into a nice habitual rut with these and have basically replaced smoking entirely. Down to the very habit itself. I use the same juice, I wind the same coils, I use the same strength. I've been busy with other things and just noticed I've pretty much swapped habit for habit.

So I use a punchy menthol, @ 18mg in a Russian 91% clone. Almost always an 18350 mod, Atom or stingray. (Clone). Twisted 32g kanthal, and cotton. Usually just over 1 ohm. I run the nano kits, like a cooler Vape, and running any lower resistance heats up the Vape on a short tip, short chimney.

Anyone else still banging away on higher nic after vaping for a while? (Not that 18 is high per se, but it isn't terribly low either).

The thing was, I was getting about 2 months out of a 125ml bottle. Now, I get about one.

It doesn't seem like I'm slowing down either.

Thoughts? Anyone else chugging along? Or see an increase over time?

I'm approaching 18 months now, still going strong. I have lowered my nic from 24mg to a range between 12-18mg depending on the juice. I tend to stick with my rda's, that sit on top of my stingray or pisces clones, and more often than not I'm running a 28g micro coil at ~0.9ohms though I do occasionally experiment with other builds.I have my standard juices that I can vape pretty much all day, but I also like to mix it up with new flavors often.

Basically in the same boat except for nic level. The I usually Vape on my hana clone and trident rda built at about 1.2 with 28ga microcoil on 5/64.
Also have a SiD with Kayfun built the same.
LOVE my new 4nine with tobh or clt built at 0.7 dual... Tried a 0.5 ohm dual, but was way too hot for me.

started mainly with a 11-12 juice and after 5 months switched to 9MG , wasn't so hard and after 2 weeks I couldn't even notice that i use lower nic .
Though , I don't know about going for a lower nic at the moment , perhaps after i get all my RBA gear I'll try

I had a very similar conversation with a very close non smoking friend last night, I have personally been pretty successful dropping my nicotine over this last year - I started at 24 and I use 3 or 6 (occasionally zero) although I still vape away, my fiance, who quit about the same time as me, is struggling much more with his nicotine situation. What I discussed with our friend made a lot of sense to my other half and helped both of us keep a little perspective.

We each smoked for 18 years, during which we each lived in our own individualized addiction. If it takes even 2 or 3 years to ensure that we *never* buy another pack of cigarettes- that is OK. I discovered I had a fairly low need for nicotine I needed the inhaling/exhaling. The other half needs nicotine and the inhalation - just conquer *your* addiction one piece at a time - it does not matter how long it takes you or how much you vape - it only matters if you are successful.

Step one is accomplished cigarettes are out of your life- now you just have to find your personal path that you need to keep them out :) If you rush or do anything before you are truly ready and go back to smoking, then it was all for nought.

I started in jan. . And quit analogs that same day, have not had the desire for one or want one. Like you say: one habit to another, but its a good thing, My health is so much better. I started at 18 mg. and still there, don't see myself cutting down. But I will when I find and use the right equipment, still buying and experimenting.

well put!
I too am more addicted to the hand to mouth motion and vapor - more the act of smoking than the nicotine itself.

18mg for years now, started at 30 way back. I can go down to 12 with a high powered RDA setup but otherwise I crave the throat hit too much. Every time I've forced myself to step it down lower than 18 I just haven't gotten the same satisfaction. I'm ok with the idea of staying at 18mg indefinitely, to be honest.

I think this is just the way it's going to be for me too.

I have other juices... I just don't like them as much as my steady deal. So after a while I lost interest in 'messing' with vaping, and just stick with what I like best. Same deal with coils, and new RDA's and mods etc.

I like my 18350 mods, my Russian clones, and even the way I wind my 'ish.

When I deviate, I am less satisfied. When I have something that is potentially leaky or huge, I am annoyed.

Best recent vaping moment was going to an amusement park. (Cedar Point) No need to cheat a cig in line anywhere. Granted I got more than a few looks for vaping in line. (But literally everyone was doing it. Some blasting off clouds and clouds in line) But it was truly awesome to be able to not have to worry about where I was or if I got stuck in line for 2 hours.

I've noticed that recently I set my PV down long enough for it to actually cool off from the warmth of my hand. I used to vape about 5 ml at day and now down to about 3 ml. This just seemed to happen naturally rather than an attempt to drop the amount of the juice I consume. Totally opposite of the way I smoked cigarettes BTW.
I'm still soooooo happy to be away from them.

Yes, Vaping strong for two full years now, with not a single slip into smoking a cigarette and with no desire for one either. I vape pretty much from the time I wake up till I go to bed. And I've stayed consistent at 18mg juice. I enjoy vaping and as long as it keeps me off tobacco, I'd be happy to vape the rest of my life. That is if the FDA will let me.......

Happy to report that in 2 short weeks, I will have been a vaper for FOUR YEARS!! Yep....vape veteran big time. I have not touched a cigarette since Aug 22 2010. Keep up the great work everyone...you will be at the 4 year mark before you know it!

The best part of being at the stage I am is that you know what works for you and you can truly just buy in bulk and stock up on the stuff you like. I have DIY my own juice since late 2010 because the options for juice weren't that great. I still use cartos and a tank. I have enough nicotine in the freezer for more than 20 years. I stock up on VV mods that I like. My carto stash requires a large rubbermaid tote. I have rebuldables for if the great apocalypse ever occurs.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn! 20 years? And a tote full of carto's?

I have totes full of mags and years of ammo. Guess I have some vaping prepping to do to catch up...

I guess they could ban/regulate the living crap out of this too. I should buy bigger bottles of my juice I guess.

I started back in December 2012 with 18mg & a little 24mg for the rough patches. Over a year & a half later I still primarily vape 18mg nic. I do have a lil 12mg I use but 95% of my stash is 18mg. People keep asking if I plan on quitting vaping or stepping down my nic overtime. Honestly, the answer is no but if my body tells me to drop then I will but I don't see myself ever quitting vaping:)

Coming up on 2 years. Started at 24, and dropped to 18 a couple months in. Still at 18, and don't plan on going lower.

Nic, without all the carcinogens, is being used (and research continues) to treat things like cognitive disorder, Alzheimer's, and a few other things. By itself - and vaping gets pretty close to that! - it's recognized as having therapeutic value. So....

Im going on 2 years vaping and down to like 2 to 3 mg nic. I have been unemployed so when Im at home I vape like crazy. When I actually do get to go somewhere I rarely use my vaporizer,. Fixing to start a new job so I will probably be cutting back more.

I DIY so juice is not a issue..good thing too cause my Kayfuns and Nautilus's go through it like crazy!
