ok first i must say that i love these things and while they have not "replaced" my larger mods and other cartos they have become my main cary around on my lanyard and the vision regular it came with works so well i am still only using the first one :D only thing i can think might make it better would be a tall version of the regular size vision to match stingray battery. the batts seem to last forever (at least a whole day wow) but i really hate the look when using a different size carto that doesn't match the battery. takes away from the 'cig like' effect and makes it look idk unbalanced or homebrew or something
anyway one of my batteries does not seem sensitive enough. i have to take a much harder draw than i like to get it to activate. the other battery is no problem nice and easy. the vision regular carto i have been using has not leaked to my knowledge and i have been very careful to make sure there is no juice in the tube after filling and replacing mp while off the battery. i dont think juice got down in there but if it has is there any way to clean it or to make it more sensitive other then covering up the side air holes?
any help or thoughts or ideas would be appreciated ty

I am having the same problem with both of the batts that came in my kit, unfortunately. Very tight draw, and won't turn on unless I suck to the point of a headache Though one is better than the other, slightly...

I'm very sure no juice got in there, they were like that from the start. And, yeah, Monarch, I did blow into them from the LED direction... Didn't help. In fact, with one of them practically no air went through, and with the other, just a little. It's like the innards are off center or something.

I'm sending them back as per Daniel's request, so they can check it out. Thank God for good customer service. I love GV... :) I'm frustrated that the batts don't work right - I was really excited about this kit - but I'm very grateful that GV is taking good care of me.

The new ticket system is working well, I think. Probably keeping our favorite proprietors sane(er). :)

I am absolutely positive that no juice got in there.

I've on occasion stuck a pointy piece of tissue in the hole of an auto and done a Taryn Spin (centrifugal spin)to de-juice the suckers.

(I haven't seen the size of the hole on a Stingray, but I've done this even on tiny holed 510 autos.)

YMMV !!

Dang it!! I absolutely LOVE my stingray batt w/the vision on it ~ but I'm having the same problem w/my second batt. I have to draw on it so hard and constant to get a halfway decent hit off it... The minute I let up just a tad ~ bam the light goes out !!! The problem is, is this is a replacement batt as the first one was doa. So I don't want to be finicky or picky or a jerk about things so I guess I'll just keep it as an emergency back up. I've tried blowing into the led end to reset it and I can't get the light to come on ~ no matter how I try or what angle. Thought, maybe you can't do that w/these so I tried it w/the one that works like a charm and yep, can reset it and make light come on w/3 or 4 blows. If anyone has any ideas I'm open to suggestions :). thx!
